Back before Cedar Fair owned Knotts Berry Farm, Montezoomas Revenge was the best, most thrilling ride in the park. Newer and bigger things are being built these days, yet Monty still packs a huge punch for a ride of its age. It is a great feeling to be lauched from the station into a really large vertical loop, and then up a tower. It is disorienting for a moment as you change from forward to backwards, through the loop again, and back to the station. It doesnt stop there though. You continue backwards past the station, and up another tower, before dropping down again to a stop. I try to sit in the back so I get the tallest drop on the back tower. It is also great that they havent redone the trains over the years to include over-the-shoulder restraints. All we have here is a seat belt and a lap bar, and, since its been fine that way for more than 25 years, thats obviously all we need.

Montezumas revenge is a smooth fun and great to ride. The launch is still incredible even after all these years. The loop is smooth and produces lots of Gs. Jaguar gos through Montezumas loop and while we were on it the train to jaquar was underneath us! There is also tons of airtime on both drops. This ride is so much fun to ride especially since theres rarely ever a wait.

not a great overall ride, a shuttle launch through a loop and up a spike and then backwards, but the forces are intense

This is one of the better Schwarzkopfs Ive ridden. The launch is pretty fast with some nice positive Gs. The loop is cool both times and the weightlessness up the towers is also pretty cool. However, the thing that makes this an 8 rather than a 7 is the fact that it has lap bar restraints. Pretty cool, and also scary. Theming could be better, but overall a good ride with a short wait.

the launch is really intense, not as intense as an LIM, but really breathtaking

Ah, back when a coaster could be simple and still scare the butterflies out of your stomach. Fast dispatch, smooth loop, suspenseful peaks. Sometimes just knowing a ride is so old and still so wonderful makes you enjoy it more than these longer, faster new rides. Screw OTSR, let me feel like Im on a tequila high!

cool ride, intense kinda

This is quite a well kept coaster.This ride was well kept and it was much faster than the other Schwartzkopf shuttle loops that I had ridden.

I always like these type of coasters, and Mountes Revenge is no exception. The launch isnt as jaw-dropping as nearby cousin, Xcelerator, but still exciting in its own right. I also like the feeling you have when the train reaches its peak.

This Ride is great. No OTSR makes it was cooler than any other shuttleloop coaster.
