I almost completely skipped this ride and Im certainly glad I didnt. I was just about to leave the park when I overhead a group of teens talk about getting sick on this ride. Earlier in the day I had passed this and was pretty unimpressed, thinking it was just a fancier form of Zamperlas crazy bus. However, the curiosity got to me and I made a mad dash to this ride and walked right on. It still didnt look like anything more than a kiddie ride. Then the ride began and I can see why those teens got sick. The ride certainly was unique and I will compare it to kamikaze planes. At first I was questioning why I rode it, but then the ride kicked into high gear and on came the sensations that I ever so crave. From a freefall sensation to a swinging ship sensation, this ride really kept me guessing in regards to what Id experience next. Too bad the ride ends so quickly, but other than that these "kiddie planes" are kamikaze planes in disguise.
This was a very surprising ride that was run insanely when I visited Bowcraft. Each ride was very long (around 3 1/2-4 minutes) and the ride wasnt at all a kiddie ride like I had thought. The ride was pretty zippy and the cars swung pretty abruptly throughout the ride, and there were even some points when I was staring straight down. I also got some sensations when going over the top.
If run normally its a kiddie airplane themed ride. If run on the 10th of 11.5 settings then its really crazy. If its put on 11.5 then its an evil, evil contraption themed as kamikaze planes. Ill review it at setting 10 since thats what Ive been on. Its like a Top Spin, split in half and arranged like a Loop-O-Plane. The cars are really bottom heavy so they cannot flip and they have big lapbars that secure the entire row. When it starts, the cars move in opposite directions and swing from the forces. You get a bit of stomach dropping at the top of the swing and on 10 the cars swing pretty vicously, somtimes swinging so much that the car is almost facing straight down. Its a lot of fun on that setting. The ride itself is a bit short but thats how Zamperla made it I guess, their usually good for short ride cycles.
