Both sides were great. I wish there were more types of these rides around (dueling inverts) The themeing is awesome. But the best part is the dueling loops in the front seat

A great roller coaster with an excellent queue line and dueling element. Personally, I like Ice better, but I still love Fire. The close-calls are magnificent on it...especially when you fly right over Ices zero-g roll!!! Another amazing ride at Islands of Adventure!!!

I Fire! It was more fun than Ice and the near misses were great. I think, if the line would have moved a little quicker I would give it a 10.

i really enjoyed DD F&I. They are both fast paced, exhillerating rides. the near misses were cool, and the themeing was good. 10.

Excellent ride. But I deducted 1 points for the slightly rough ride. Besides that, it was excellent, I beleive it has more inversions than ice, thats why I rated it a little higher, but dont get me wrong, ice is a good ride too! But I have to say the coolest part about these rides are when they go carening head-on at each other and straigt up into a vertical loop. It is the most unbeleivable duel on a coaster I have ever experienced. The best seat is definitely front because it is the scariest seat during the near-head-on collision.

Theyre both quite good. Coaster fans know that the front row is the best - and thats especially true here: it makes the "near collisions" all the better. But ironically, the back row also gives some extra oomph to them - and the wait is shorter.

Wow!! best ride Ever! It beats the living $*** out of any Disney and Busch Garden and seaworld and six flag ride. I wish there were more like this.

Ive never been a fan of inverted coasters but this coaster ranks high on my list for the reason of what it is in combination with the ice track. This was my first and currently only dueling coaster and i think making a dueling coaster inverted makes it more thrilling (although i have no experience to back that up). I dont know the normal length of the line but when i went it was fairly short. We walked right through the castle which is an attraction in itself. Highly themed and i kind of wish the line was longer so i couldve had moe time to look around. I chose fire for the fact that statistic wise its the better coaster having a higher drop (115 ft compared to ices 95 ft drop) and it goes 5mph faster than ice. The only thing that slowed down my wait was that i waited for the front seat but its worth it. Sitting in the front seat the best part is going head on at the other train before going into a loop. You feel a lot closer than you are. This is a great ride and i look forward to riding ice on my next trip there.Universal knew what they were doing when they created this park and id say Universal is better than Disney now as a result of rides like this.
