The Carousel is a carousel that is well maintained and nicely themed. Is is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Great old-fashioned carousel that looks really nice and is definitely taken care of. The building it is housed in looks terrific, and the ride itself looks nice, with many animals that are all in fine shape. The music on this carousel was awesome too, with a cool band organ that sounds good. When I rode this (a good while ago), it even had a very rare brass ring catcher, so that earns it a bump up to an 8. The cycle is pretty good as well, although I thought it wouldve been longer considering there werent many people at the park that day. Still, Conneauts carousel is a nice traditional fit to this older amusement park.

A nice traditional carousel with a long cycle and organ music. The animals are quite nice and the best part is that you can keep an eye on the lineup for Blue Streak, nearby.

Very nice, well maintained old carousel, that even has a band organ and a brass ring catch (with but 7 rings as of last season ). Its downfall lies in its animals, some of which are modern animals, since several were sold off in the early 90s to raise money for the park. But, the modern animals are still wooden, and nicely made, just not unique like the antiques are.
