The Woodstock Express is a steel sit down roller coaster. It was built by Zamperla in 2000. It is 10' tall, 280' long. It is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity and a long duration.

Not a bad kiddie coaster I guess, but in comparison to other "real" coasters, I have to give it a pretty low score. These things can get pretty powerful, and I actually thought this one was a little rough! Ah well, I survived, and will probably be hitting up lots more of these models in the near future.

Woodstock Express at Dorney Park is one of the parks 3 kiddie coasters, and this one is appropriately located in the Camp Snoopy kids area. The ride certainly looks nice, which is a plus. However, even from a kiddie coaster standpoint, I thought that it was honestly pretty below average. Dont get me wrong, its a nice enough starter coaster and Im fairly certain that really young kids probably love it. But, I dunno, I think kids get more bang and fun out of the kiddie models from Vekoma and Zierer. Theres really not much of a layout to this other than a mini-drop and a couple turns. They do dish out 2 laps, which is probably a big hit with most riders. I would say that overall this is only a good kiddie coaster for kids 3 and under. Other than that, its rather ho-hum for everyone else.

Was very painful and funny for me. course that is what happens when you put someone over six feet into a kiddie coaster so I dont blame the ride. For this type of kiddie it was actually pretty good and if it was at ValleyFair they would have to slow it down. Nice scenary in the area and overall just another credit.

Very nicely themed kiddie coaster that unfortunately doesnt ride as well as it looks. I really like the Peanuts theming for the ride, especially the giant tree gift shop. Usually this is a one circuit wait or so, but loading was pretty slow while I was there. Well, this is much like a lot of the other kiddie coasters out there in layout, but this one is bumpier and rougher, especially during the last turn which is brutal. Dorney does give 3 circuits though.

A kiddie coaster with a bite. Still not worth it beyond the credit unless you are a small child.

A kiddie coaster in Camp Snoopy with an attitude. Not to say that an adult will be scared but perhaps surprised how this little coater jerks you around. The line could move faster. I could see this one ruining smaller kids for years to come. I had my 4 year old on but she was not thrilled. Not all Snoopy’s rides are for all little ones! They do take a picture – I kept pointing that out to her as we went around (I think you go 2 or 3 times), the picture was a nice distraction. All in all if your kids are small you might as well wait until 5 or 6, especially if they are timid. Adults might find it a bit jerky. Teens may not mind taking a younger sibling but don’t expect them to hang around here to long. Pictures are of course available for purchase. Nicely themed area.
