You have to ride it backwards. I found it great going backwards. Still a great woodin coaster. It is a must when you go to pki.

I only got to ride the forward side. My first ride I thought I got the car with the square wheels. Very rough, so next time I got a non axel seat. It was a little better, but I think this ride needs some TLC.

One of the first modern racers. Better than its cousin Rebel Yell (PKD). Both sides provide good airtime and a good view of the park. Make sure your first ride is on the backwards side because it will greaten the sense of surprise.

I still like this ride. Its old and looks and sounds ricketty, but thats part of the charm. Its pretty long for racing woodies too. I like that. Most racing woodies are too short. The airtime is great! A bit on the rough side too, but thats also part of the charm.

I might look stupid doing this, but it sucks. Big time. It had pain, noise that makes suicide look facinating, and it was just rough. I dont know, mabey it could be because im a steel type of guy...

This is a classic. My dad, who had ridden it years ago, encouraged me to ride it. Thinking it would suck, I went on it backwards. It was awesome, the airtime was incredible over the hills. Nice turns also. Its one of those rides, including the Flight of Fear, that arent highly advertised and are sorta left alone. It is truly a great ride.

I throughly enjoyed this ride moreso than "Rebel Yell" or "Thunder Road." Maybe im being biased since I grew up in this park, but hey, just like coaster05 said, I am quite surprised this ride has an average of 7.6 .

How can the ride that is pretty much crediterd with restarting the coaster boom get anything less than a ten. The fact that this ride has a seven rating is ridiculous. If this ride was orginally received as an average experience, none of us would be talking about all these other great rides. Coaster history and still a fun ride.

Awesome wooden coaster. Loads of airtime and speed. Classic John Allen design with bunny hops and symetry. a beautful, fun, coaster
