The Ferris Wheel is a flat ride. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Dorneys Ferris Wheel is smaller than what can be found at most amusement parks, but it is still pretty good. The lighting package they have for it looks fantastic at night, and the ride is most benefited from its location on top of the hill that connects the two main "sections" of Dorney Park. This leads to some great views of the park, from Talon and Hydra down to Steel Force (and anything in between!). This never really has a line, so waits arent much of an issue. It moves at a really good pace for a ferris wheel, although the cycle on it was just average. Still, this is a park staple and definitely good for pictures and some relaxing fun.

An average Ferris Wheel that allows for a fairly decent view of the park. Not much else to say.

Definitely one of the better ferris wheels out there. It looks no different than the many other Chance ferris wheels out there, but this one turned out to be very good thanks to its location on the top of a hill. That allowed for a ride full of excellent views of Dorneys many rides, especially of their roller coasters and in specific Steel Force and Hydra. Also, the cycle was decent in length and it loaded very quickly and was a walk-on.

I thought it was a pretty good ferris wheel. Its on top of a hill, which makes for an excelent location.

Good Family ride even for the little ones. Mine did not get too afraid. (9 and 6) As I get older I find myself a bit more nauseated by spinning rides, I usually stick with the coasters--the ferris wheel is not too bad for those with such an affliction. It’s not the highest but high enough. You get some very good views. The cars rock to and fro nicely. It is speedy once it get going but is smooth. It’s a very pretty view at night and perhaps a bit scarier for the young at night too. The ride LINE is usually short though the wait is typically LONG. We usually use our season passes pre and post season since they over pack the park in July and August with every bus known to man-kind. In pre/post season it takes forever to get on. When the things do get going it does not last long…though long enough for me. Hopefully they staff it better once you hit July but based on a few visits I have had then it is just as bad…not sure why they do not load from all platforms….has ANYONE ever seen them do this? All in all likely tolerable for teens, nostalgic for the returning adult and bit scary for the little ones, but worth it.

Im not a fan of ferris wheels. Im actually kind of afraid of them. This one was ok. It is not too high for me. I like to sit on the right side to get a nice view of Talon and Wildwater Kingdom. I have never been on it at night, so I cant comment on that. It does give a very nice view of the park too. But, so do Dominator and Steel Force (going up the lift hill).

A nice ride but smaller than other ferris wheels. Its position near the middle of the park gives a great view of all the attractions.
