a god ride with a really good first drop but the corkscrews seem really slow and the ride is short
I had a pretty good time on this ride. It has a great first drop. The corkscrews are rough, as they are supposed to be, which was the only drawback to this ride for me.
A high 7...a really suprising steel looper, not too rough at all. Worth a ride for sure!
This was a cool steel coaster. I thought it was amazing.
I loved this ride. I think its well taken care of and it has not aged like some of the other arrows. The loading time is great beacuse they run 3 trains all the time.
Been awhile since Ive been out to Ohio - but I still remember this one, and it was great. For a loop heavy steel coaster, it also features a great first drop. Great air-time, too.
Good ride. One of the best Arrows Ive been on. Painful on the shoulders. A little slow on the corkscrews.
Call me a glutton for punishment but Im an Arrow fan. I loved this ride. People talk of how rough it is but i think it needs to be a little rough to show you whos boss! Excellent layout, beautiful location, wonderful LONG ride!
In my book the Vortex is another classic ride. I remember when it opened it was all that people were talking about- and made it onto just about every top ten list in the country. Well all those epoepl were not wrong then- and they are not wrong now. The Vortex has a great pace, and thrilling elements. The course is literaly the most twisted track I have ever seen (well besides FOF. You get an unheard of amount of air time on the unbeatable forst drop- better than any other Arrow looper in the world! Hail to the Vortex.
Vortex is a lot of fun. Make sure you ride it in the front seat. As you come up over the first hill after the drop hill, you get some good airtime and, youre still in the air when you round the curve. I think the best thing is that its a fun ride and the ride is never very long.
