Taller than most drop tower. This was actually my first Intamin drop tower so I didnt know how to act, so I stapled my self in so it effected the fun, but I didnt deduct for it. Great view too.

Pitt Fall ranks right up there as one of the best drop towers around! The view is spectacular, although I never really get to enjoy it cause my heart starts thumping through my chest. I love how you stay up there, 251 feet above creation, for what seems like an eternity.....theres never a set time when you drop either, which adds to the thrill since you dont know when its coming. Great airtime on the fall as well. If youre heading to Kennywood, this ones not to be missed!

Pitt Fall is a world class thrill ride and one of the best drop towers around! At a staggering 251 feet, this ride looms large from all over Kennywood. You climb up the tower at a good pace and then come to a stop 25 stories up! Provides a tremendous view, depending on your seat. I always try to get in one of the seats that faces the rest of the park. One thing I love about Pitt Fall is that theres no set time when they drop you....you never know when itll go! As many times as Ive ridden this, my heart still starts pounding at the top, with that great "what in the world am I doing here!?!" feeling. And then....it drops. WOW!!! What an incredible rush and feeling of uncontrolled speed as you plummet towards the ground at speeds over 60 mph! Pitt Fall also provides incredible weightlessness when you first are released and then on the way down. In mere seconds (as you begin to think youll slam into the ground) the magnetics kick in and screech you to a halt. An unbelievable ride from start to finish, and nowadays the lines are extremely short!! Thrill seekers, this one has your name on it!! A must ride without a doubt!

A good deal of air time and a great view, but the ride is has painfully slow operation and you are standing out in the sun waiting for it. It also has a low capacity.

This is one of my favorite drop rides behind Acraphobia and Drop Zone at PKI. You get a great view of the whole park. The drop is soo unpredictable its great. Dont try to see weightlessness with coins on the drop!! LOL

Too short, but a scary quick ride. Small lines- big capacity, nice view. Make it another 50 feet taller and Ill be happy.

Ive never been a fan of this type of drop tower and Ive tried this and the one at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom several times, but it just doesnt have the same type of feelings and anticipation like the taller or space shot towers. I guess it kind of fits into Kennywoods theme with a more traditional type of ride, but theres a lot of things I would rather do at the park and this is toward the bottom of the list of Kennywoods endless classics. Not very fun and not very thrilling. Just there compared to what a drop ride should be. Disappointed in the one at SFGAm as well.

This is a great drop tower. Simple as that. You dont know when you are going to drop, and when you do, you experience weightlessness. Note: the heavier the car, the better the fall.
