I shot way better than coaster05 did. Thats why he gave it a 7. There are lots of targets on this ride. Tons of things to shoot at.
I spent like half my time trying to remember what the theme was before and i finally remebered 4 hours later while waiting in a fear fest line. APPEARANCE-6 parts are pretty good and other parts are weak. part of the problem with interactive rides is its hard to see the theming. the outside still looked good but i prefered where you used to get in and the waiting room was not what it once was. but the use of black lights was good and the cutouts were ok. RIDE QUALITY-6 The track is still smoothe even with its age but sometimes the cars did not rotate fast enough to get a good shot at some of the targets. Also some targets reset so fast you could hit them two or three times and others you just couldnt hit very eratic. CAPACITY-8 very good like most rides like this but the repeating shaggy message in line makes the line seem much longer. i also had some really dim people who tried to put like 8 in a seat so then they left like two cars empty before they realized. FUN-7 the lack of gun accuracy hurt this ride a little but it was still a good time. not as good as mib or den of lost thieves. RERIDE-9 I would think that i would ride this on almost every visit here, but some rides in the park do have higer priority. OVERALL 36 AVG 7.2 so i score it a 7 better working guns would move it up.
Just like everyone else has said, its a lot of fun.
I really think it was a good decision to add this ride. Everybody I saw get off looked very happy and the idea of competition is something overlooked to often by ride designers. I dont remember my exact score but I thought it was pretty good. The theming is very good and it is very reridable. A solid addition to PKI.
Great ride for the kiddies, but adults who like video games too. This is definately A LOT better than the similar Buzz lightyear ride at Disney. They didnt make quite the effort with this as they did with the Phantom Theater, because everything is painted cardboard cutouts instead of animated robots
This did not fascinate me like others say. It was colored card board. I prefer the 3-D fighting back characters and the spinning effects with fog and strobe of MIB. It seemed all cardboard, too much glow.
Ive been on rides like this one before but this one I like the best.
This ride was probably my favorite at Kings Island. I just loved it (probably because I scored 1985, 300 more points than the next best in our party). It was just pure fun. Plus, even though the line was out the entrance, we still got on in 15 minutes. It is a very fast loader like Buzz Lightyear at the Magic Kingdom.
This ride is just pure fin. I think it would be great to incorporate a roller coaster track into a ride like this. If the line is out the door, dont woory, it is still only about a 20 minute wait. Trust me
This is a pretty good dark ride. It is built in to the Scooby Doo theme well, and follows the typical fake ghost chase story line that the cartoon does.
In terms of an interactive dark ride, it is not very good. The guns are very bulky and hard to aim. It seems you are lucky to hit anything at all. Also, too many of the targets dont do anything when they are hit, you just get a score from them.
