I loved everything about this ride. The theming is probably the best of any ride Ive ever seen. The track, the station, the actual cars are all red, blue, and yellow like the Man of Steels suit. Plus, there are posters throughout the waiting line talking about Superman and his history. The last stretch has huge cut-outs of all the important characters from the Superman Universe. The ride itself is unlike any other. I truly felt like I was Superman flying. (I even stuck my arms straight out). The ride is one of the smoothest and most comfortable Ive ever been on. I consider this ride a masterpiece.

This is a fun ride. It isnt the most thrilling ride there is, but the pretzel loop is AMAZING! Other than that, its too short.

For the first time on a flying coaster, I got the feeling RIGHT. I think the comic book geek in me was awoken by the themeing and the characters throughout the que not to mention the color scheme. The ride itself was smooth and splendid. Id definitely rank this as "fun" and not "thrill." As everyone has said, the pretzel loop is not to be missed. I think it will be that much better of a ride once the trees planted develop some more.

Im not a fan of the concept of the flying coaster at all. Yet this ride still has its high points...the pretzel is amazing. Plus I walked onto the first train so I got to pity all the fools who waited an hour to be disappointed.

Superman is a decent Flyer at SFGAm. Best times to ride is late at night within 45 minutes of park closing. The line may still be long, but it shouldnt be as terrible as the rest of the day. Store ALL your articles, because there is a good chance that if you take something on the ride you could lose it easily. (S:UF sits 4 riders across)

It is very original. I like when it goees up, and you have a birds eye view with nothing below you. The original drop is cool and the pretzel loop is awesome but that is it. It is slow and boring and not exactly worth the wait. I dont believe the ride is 3:00 as it is listed. It is shorter. Still a better than average ride.

ok, this is simply one of the worst rides in the park. to be honest, i have mch more fun on american eagle, and i dont have to wait over an hour. the only good part of the ride is the pretzel loop which is great. after than the ride just plain sux. its slow and quite boring. dont waste your time and go to raging bull, a great b&m coaster. as far as im concerned, i am very disappointed in this ride, and was expecting much more. they say that the ride is 3 minutes, but to me it felt like 30-45 seconds.

OK,soo this was my first time riding a flying coaster and since great america is my home park..y not try right..soo i get in line and the dang thing broke down..but its cool..i go ride raging bull about 5 times straight in 10 minutes..all on the front row, then i rode everything else in the park..then around 7pm superman opened and it was a 5 minutes wait..i got on and to be it wasnt all that special..the beginning is amazing with the preztel roll and but after that..its a bit boring for me...dont waste over 35 minutes to get on this ride..its worth on 3 minutes of your time

Superman: Ultimate Flight is a ride that on my most recent visit seemed faster and more intense to me than it ever has before. Hopefully it will stay that way, because I have never been that impressed with this coaster from a "coaster" standpoint. It is certainly a novel experience, and as everyone and their brother has stated, the pretzel loop is amazing, especially in the back row (where I nearly always ride). But the ride is generally pretty forceless (this past visit exempt, as I said before), and is also rather short, not generally good qualities for any coaster to have. In summary, Superman is by no means a bad coaster, and is in fact a lot of fun and a very unique experience. Definitely recommendable if the wait is short. But if the wait is long, you may want to consider just how much time you are willing to spend on this "unique experience."
