More unique than your average drop ride

This ride to me looked like it wasnt too bad, but the bite is definitly worse then the bark, at least to me! Its very unique and the drop was really cool. It was also more intense then I thought as you are pushed further into your seat! You can tell its pretty old though but taken care of!

Not a great ride but it is a little nerve racking being lifted up the tower. The drop is a little dissapointing but still kinda fun. Id just wait the extra 30 minutes and just ride Power Tower. Even though I really didnt like Demon Drop, I do highly recomend everybody experiences a 1st Generation Intamin Freefall before this breed of rides seemingly disapears into extinction.

This is faster than the Power Tower, probably because of the giant wheels on the cage. Riding on your back for about 100ft is fun too. The Mr Hyde ride at Geagua Lake pails in comparison to the Demon Drop. two thumbs up!!

Not as tall as some towers but still a decent thrill. I wish it didnt feel like a trip to a bad chriropractor. I decided to leave my orginal two sentence review. Worst part someone actually thought it was good. Since this ride may soon be leaving I thought I would rate it correctly before it is tto late. APPEARANCE-8 It still seems very menacing as you pull intothe park. It is one of the all time great locations, especally back in the day when it was so new and scary. CAPACITY-8 Actually very good. The line has always moved faster then advertised. RIDE QUALITY-3 Very short ride obviously and pretty rough at the bottom. Very uncomfortable chairs. FUN-5 So very scared the first time, now the fun and shock are pretty much gone. RERIDE-2 Almost non existant now as a reride option. I can hardly remember the last time I went. I do still recall the first two time with my parents, since that was the trip I lost my fear of rides. OVERALL-26 AVG-5.2 so I will keep the five. This is a ride I dont care for anymore but if it is sold I will always have a great memory and the parks entrance willnever quite be the same.

The drop is nice but the breaks and return to the staion can be a head banger.

I dont get why I like this better than Power Tower But I DO!

this irde is good, and it was the first ride i went on in cedarpoint. the view was awesome (until i went on the other rides) and the drop was insane. incredibly short line, but an incredibly short ride.

Real scary ride! Its not as fun as the Power Tower, but its scarier. Dont let the size fool you. My heart was nearly in my throat

When riding this, put a penny on your knee and watch it float when you drop, its cool! Demon Drop is pretty fun, but the brakes hurt, nice negative Gs.
