Cedar Creek Mine Ride was a decent mine coaster...probably one of the better ones Ive ridden for the final helix at the end which had some nice forces. I actually had the chance to randomly meet another coaster enthusiast while riding it, so throughout the ride, we were talking about coasters, which also added to the experience haha

One of the better mine train coasters, I liked CCMR a lot better than Disneys Big Thunder Mountain. Its faster and it also has great theming around the lagoon.

While this particular attraction may be a bit timid and seemingly lacking for many experienced enthusiasts on this site, one must look at the historical presence this coaster has on the frontier area, placed nicely with the wooded theming, and the family feel being emphasized here. For first - timers, CCMR is an excellent start. Truly a nice alternative to oval kiddie coasters and RR Expresses around the world, lol.

This ride just moves to slow throughout and never seems to materialize into excitement. I know that mine rides are not supposed to be big thrills, but this seems to lack thrills all together. Every time the action gets good, it seems to slow down. The second lift hill kills the action of the first half of the ride. Then the final helix starts to get the blood flowing, but the ride ends immediately after that.

Its an ok mine ride for me. In some parts it is a little jerky. Its an ave. ride for me.

theming was good, but the speed was slow and not constant. a good first coaster for kids. very smooth for a woodie. enjoyable, just not even close to other CP rides, but i guess its good for them to keep some of the classics, though i wouldnt be too bummed if they got rid of it for something else.

Its old, boring, and had stupid drops. I know little kids like it and it is pretty smooth, but if Cedar Point had to demolish a roller coaster, this would probably get my vote.

Cedar Creek Mine Ride was actually alright. Im not a mine train fan, but its a classic ride thats actually pretty long for its ride type & the theming of it was cool too. I also love the landscaping of CCMR as youre cruising over the lake. CCMRs definitely a better mine train than HPs Trailblazer, but its still a family coaster, & a better one too. Ride CCMR if youve got kids thatre starting to get into riding coasters. Theyll enjoy it.

One of the more fun rides I have been on. Sure, the cars are cramped for long legs... but it is a mine ride... what do you expect?

I love the setting of this ride. I cant believe that I did not ride this until this year, my fourth trip to the Point. A few of the turns toss you a bit and the helix is above average. A slightly better than average mine ride.
