This ride is a hidden gem in a park that seems to have forgotten about it. It was my luck to be there on the day of its 25th anniversary of its opening (I even got to sign a poster!) and after the first ride, I was hooked. Me and a friend of mine rode the red train as we raced against our other two friends who were in blue. We lost, only because red is braked more than blue! It immediately became a rivalry, as we rode it again and again, just trying to beat blue. This soon grew into an obsession, and yet, no matter how many times we rode, blue always one. Red gets a brake going into the final helix, and blue doesnt! But the crazy fun we had trying to win is something I will never forget. This is a fantasic ride, and one that never gets old. Its a classic that I can easily call on of my favorites.
Nothing to get too excited about. Being in a park with other such great coasters hurts this ride alot.
This was a good racing coaster, but nothing extraordinary. Not too rough, not too smooth. Not too fast, not too slow. Its definitely worth riding, but nothing to get too excited about.
This coaster is rough and no fun. This coaster is rough in a different way than a wooden coaster. It is jerky and jarring like a mine train from hell. I just dont understand what people see in this coaster. Id rather ride the blue streak.
This almost made my top 10. It has an excellent drop as well as airtime. The helix is great and the racing aspect makes it all the better. Its alot of fun to, dont miss it! The lines go fast with the high capacity.
Racing coasters are soo cool. This was alot of fun. The helix gets a little rough, but it was fun.
Despite the coasters age and being made by arrow, this coaster was smooth. The racing effect was great and it was fun to slap hands around the turns!
If it had been racing I prolly wouldve had more fun. Im sorry but this ride was a real let down. It was slow the whole way. The drops were steep though which added some good stuff. An ok ride, but couldve been much better.
Gemini is a very good coaster which is in very good condition considering that it is 25 year old. I think it has great speed along with a few good airtime hills. The hand slapping has been a great tradition that I always take part in and I just love the intense helix at the end so, I give this coaster a 10.
This was a pretty descent ride. Kinda rough for a steel (ya its steel not a woodie) coaster, but still pretty exciting
