On my trip to Cedar Point, this was my second favorite Coaster, under MF but over ME200. It had the speed and smooth of a steelie, but the intimidating structure of a Woodie. Also, there was very little wait due to the high capacity. Racing elements are always a fun gimic, and while this ones not quite at the level of Lightning Racer, its a lot better than Racer and Grand National. Give this one a go, odds are, you wont be disapointed!

This large coaster that is confused with its identity is located between the midway and Frontiertown. This fantastic coaster is seriously underrated, with a ride that isnt too thrilling for younger people, but just thrilling for about everyone. And with the racing aspect, the line moves extremely fast, another nod to Cedar Points amazing capacity. The station is so 70s, I love it! On my trip I waited only about 15 minutes for my ride on the very back of the blue train. And they actually timed it to race! (Unlike my experience on American Eagle.) You go over a turn and approach the tall lift hill. Now is the time to taunt the other train next to you, telling them how much they suck, youre going to win because youre TEH SEX LOLZ!, etc. My sister was yelling things to them that I will not type on here, but got some laughs on our train, and scowling looks from the other. Youre at the top and just WHIP down the surprisingly steep drop with a fantastic headchopper at the end! YOu go up and go over a slow turn so you can high five the other train, call them more names, or just have a conversation. Its the most social ride at the Point! Down 2 more drops with airtime, another turn, more drops etc. The layout is actually the same the most of the time but who cares when youre having this much fun! But Gemini senses that youre having 1 bad thought about it and throws you a surprise: A tight helix! You slam into it and get thrown to the side of your car and hit the brakes, either celebrating your win or sulking about your loss. Either way you will still agree on the same thing: You had a blast on the Gemini. Get a whole bunch of your friends and put them on the Gemini: Watch hiliraty ensue. One of the most underrated rides, Gemini is a cant miss at Cedar Point.

Very underrated ride at cedar point. This one gives great thrills and good air time.

One of the more unique coasters at CP, Gemini is a thrill to try. I rode this with my brother and we had a lot of fun on it. You get real close to the other folks on the second train and you can hi-five them. Try it out. UPDATE (7/18/2009): Rode it again and it's still one of Cedar Point's best. This time around I noticed a near collision with a beam on the blue track. Of course you miss it, but it's one hell of a headchopper!

A pretty good racer. You get the effects of wood but the smoothness of steel. Rather fun

This is a good coaster, but not a great one. It gives a fun ride that is a little rough in spots. The day I rode it only one side was running, so I didnt get the full experience. However, I still think that in its dueling form, it would be inferior to Lightning Racer.

This is one interesting coaster. The structure is wooden and the track is opposite, so that stands out. And its a fun coaster in general. The trains are similar to a mine trains trains, and in fact, I think this IS a mine train. Most every drop on the ride has airtime of some kind. To make the most out of it, ride in the back. You really get pulled down the drops. Because of this, the ride feels like Magnum sometimes. Its fun to slap hands with the opposing train, but I only did so once. Wasnt easy. The ride ends with a surprisingly strong 360 turn which seems to be a great finale after so many drops. It was probably about 8 drops altogether. Overall, this ride still rox in 2006. Dont miss it.

I had a great time on this ride. Good airtime, a little friendly competition, and some top-notch head-choppers. Gemini is just raw fun, unmarred by a grossly overrated reputation. Somehow, this ride has escaped that image that nearly every other Cedar Point coaster has fallen prey to, and we should be thankful.

Definatly an underrated ride. This ride is smooth, steep and fast. The wooden structure is so great because it allows for great headchopping effects. I swear once I thought my arms would be ripped right off. Its so fun to race and the ride ops are always fun. The line is also very short because of the rides huge capacity.

Gemini is a great ride, love how Cedar Point duels it, but the first drop has amazing airtime. The whole coaster does. Its fun. Its great. And, I love the fact how its a smooth wooden coaster with tubular track. Its crazy smooth for a wooden. Its a great ride. I love the Gemini.
