A very exciting ride. Nonstop to the end. A must ride at the park. I can easily see how a lot of people love this coaster, as it never gives you a breather.

This ride was just "ok". The first time we rode it we had and intense and smooth ride. However, we were stuck on the brake run for like 20 minutes in the freezing cold. The second time we took a ride this coaster wasnt so smooth. We got a little headbanging. It was still a good ride though.

This is a very fun ride. It is extremely enjoyable the first 8 times you ride it. By now, Ive been on it too many times. I think that it is kinda jerky in some areas, and the terrible brakes at the end make this ride worth an 8.

Raptor is a great invert, second to Alpengeist (I havent ridden Montu or DD yet). The first drop is excellent, the zero-g-roll does like the name says, and the cobra roll really whips you around. After the MCBR, Raptor feels out of control with the wing overs and a great helix. The only problem is that final turn into the break run. It really bangs your head up. I would recommend pinning your head to one side of the harness before that ending. Other than that Raptor is a great, smooth, fun coaster!!

My first ride that I rode at cedarpoint. Easily the best invert that I have ever been on(haha, not saying to much). It had a relatively short line. this ride was much more intense then I thought it would be. Another one of Cedar Points great coasters. One ride that makes you want to "ride on" at Americas roller coast!

This was an incredible Inverted coaster. The first drop is exhilarating, very similar to Montu but without a complete 180. The ensuing zero-G and cobra rolls are phenomenal, and the rest of the ride gave some great lateral Gs with the sudden turns and a nice change in elevation, as you get very close to the ground at times.

Update: After riding Top Gun, I have realized what a kick ass Invert should be, so I am lowering this score to a 7, becase I gave Alpengeist an 8, which I also throught was better than Raptor.

This is a top notch ride, although it doesnt seem to be aging gracefully...its kinda getting ghetto looking in areas. The best suspended coaster Ive ever ridden (go see my review of batman at Six Flags chicago for an example of a bad suspended coaster) and its the second one I ever rode after Iron Dragon, so god bless you raptor.

I was expecting this ride to be a little better then it was. Dont get me wrong it is a good ride but it just didnt meet my expectations. Ive been on better inverted rides such as Montu and the Dueling Dragons which were both more fun. I do like how the ride is pretty long.

I LOVE THIS RIDE. Raptor was my first ever coaster made from steel. I was always used to wooden coasters and was too scared to try something new and faster. It was my first trip to Cedar Point too. Man do i love that park. Well i got a freeway pass for it(those things r so nifty)neway i got in line at around 7. There were some angry ppl in line yelling at us cuz they didnt know about the freeways...tough luck for them! So we made it to the station in no time. Has ne one noticed how beautiful those trains are??? Sry I jus love the colors of them! Me and my sis decided to sit in the seat jus behind the front seat so we could see where we were going but we were 2 scared to be in front y i dont know. At this point the nerves kicked in and i became aware that i have ridden nething like this at all!! My sis and I prayed up the hill lol we r dorks. At the top I started screamin my lungs off as we plunged down the curved hill. Wow i love this feeling. Kicking the sky was pretty neat too. The best part would have to be the helix at the end. My cheeks were so drooped and i could barely breath. Hm yea that makes it sound not so fun but u have to ride it to see wat i mean!! I could ride this coaster day and night and never be bored with it. Go to CP and ride Raptor!!!

Exceptional inverted coaster. What an intense experience. From start to finish, Raptor NEVER lets up and always fakes you out. For example, there are little, "curious" changes in direction that occur throughout the ride. A big one occurs right before the train enters the 1st corkscrew and people who have ridden it probably know what Im talking about. These little things make Raptor so unique and a whole lot more thrilling. The 1st drop is excellent. It whips you around the turn coming off the lift and plunges the train down the drop. Ive never been on a inverted coaster that can provide the out-of-your seat sensation it gave me. I wasnt even touching the seat at all. It was like I was almost free-falling. Awesome. The loop was great, the Zero-G roll was probably the best Ive ever experienced (the sensation of careening out of my seat was so intense on Raptor, more than any other) and the rest of the ride holds up to the beginning. Plus, the infamous helix at the end did hold up to the hype. You can feel the powerful Gs on your legs and it really makes for a great ending. The only problem was that the ride was a little rough in parts such as the Cobra Roll (I dont like them, anyway) and that last turn into the brake run, which was a bit too sharp. If you dont keep your head back (REMEMBER THIS, new riders), you WILL experience some brutal headbanging as a result. Other than that, though, the ride was pretty smooth and it has aged pretty well. What a ride. Raptors 2 times more exciting than it looks...and it looks wild to begin with. Its on my top 10 and it should be on yours too.
