Best inverted coaster I have ever been on. Perfect layout.

I must agree with RCGenius...Raptor has one very special thing that makes it my favorite at CP: ATTITUDE. Raptor takes YOU for a ride, not the other way around. Words cant describe how much I adore this coaster, especially since everyone else has already mentioned the features and elements of the ride. Raptor will probably always remain one of my all-time favorites.

This is a great ride that any park would be proud to have. First, I think that the ride is well placed near the entrance of the park to intimidate you walking through the gate and tempt you with one more quick ride as you leave the park. For the ride itself, I like everything about it. The first half with the drop to get it going, the vertical loop, zero-g roll and cobra roll are a solid start, but I personally enjoy the second half more. After the brakes, you find yourself snaking through seemingly unending helixes and two corkscrews that pop up out of nowhere. I encourage riding toward the middle to back of the car so you cant tell where the track is going to take you and be surprised by all of the elements.

Best ride at Cedar Point in my opinion. The first time I got off this ride I could barely walk my sense of balance was so messed up. The first hill over the midway is real cool and its just a smooth, tight, disorienting ride.

The Raptor is a fun ride but a little bit jerky and abrupt at the end. A great sensation of flying and great speed. The first drop still takes my breath away and is a pretty good scare despite the fact it is not too high. Any type of inverted ride always seems to make it a bit more freaky because you are hanging freely. Not one of my favourites but it still deserves a thumbs up to the designers for one of the more unusual type of inventions.

Raptors the best B&M invert Ive ridden up to date. The whole courses very fast & intense. I loved the 1st drop & its also tall for a B&M invert. Raptor packs in a lot of inversions & all of them were placed perfectly & a lil disorienting, but thats what I like about them. The high speed turns were very intense as I felt like I was just being whipped around those turns. The helixes at the end caught me by surprise as they were so fast & intense going through it. Raptors actually the first B&M coaster that Ive ever experienced w/a lot of character in it. Dont get me wrong. Raptors still smooth, but it definitely has the intensity that you wont find at a lot of other parks w/B&M coasters. Raptor definitely defines what a true B&M classic invert can do & how it can still compete w/the likes of Alpengeist, Montu, Top Gun: the Jet Coaster, & many more. Definitely ride Raptor once when at CP. Youll love it.

I had a really bad time on this ride. I sat in the front because people said it was the best place to sit. Well, it wasnt. I loved the drop, the loop, and the zero-g roll, but once I got to the colbra roll, it was terrible. I did the first part of it, and this brown stuff (not poop) splattered in my face and on my neck. Then to the corkscrews, they hurt my feet like hell. And the same with the helix, if not worse. Maybe if my feet had not have been hurting, it would have been different. But, until the next time I ride this, it will remain a 6.

i rode this in 2000, and i just cant remember anything about it. thats why i give it a five. one should be able to remember a coaster ride. i can tell you what i DO remember. i rode it in the front seat. should have been pretty exciting, right? i remember it looked very sexy and wild from the ground. i also remember the trains, which in my opinion look right out of the latest pixar film. i dont get too scared when i board a coaster that looks like a computer animated cartoon. but aside from that, i dont remember the ride itself. i dont remember my nervous system being titillated in the least. i hyped it to my girlfriend before we rode, like "we should ride this, inverted coasters are really cool in the front seat."
nope. completely forgot it.

This is a great, fun and exciting ride. If you are not sitting in the front car some extra excitement is added because you dont know where you are going (because the front seat is blocking your view) and every element is a surprise. I love the cobra roll because it feels like you are just going to do a traditional loop but then you go into two corkscrews and you are upside down a lot longer then you expect. Raptor is a very fun ride and is a must ride at cedar point.
