Pretty damn good inverted B&M coaster. Fast and itll make your head spin. Its up there with other B&M inverted coasters like Batman The Ride (SF) and Montu (Busch Gardens Africa). UPDATE (7/18/2009): Rode it again and it's still one of the best inverted coasters around!
This is my favorite inverted coaster in the whole world. My favorite part of this ride was the cobra roll about halfway through the ride. It was fairly smooth and very enjoyable
Raptor is a very good invert. The layout is fun some of the manoevers have good intensity. The ride is very smooth and the restraints are comfortable. However, for me a great coaster gives me a vivid image of riding it in my mind from start to finish. Raptor didnt quite leave this type of impression on me. I consider it to be more of an 8.5 coaster than an 8, so give it a ride and see for yourself.
Raptor is very good suspended coaster. The ride is long and interesting. The seats are comfortable. The line moves quickly. The view is exciting, particularly from the from seat. However, the ride has some slow spots resulting in a pacing that is worse than on the similar Batman rides at the Six Flags parks.

Stacked up against other B&M Inverts, Raptor just cant compare. Not quite sure how this ride is often considered the best of its kind, but hey...thats their opinion, not mine. As for me, Ill stick with Alpie and Top Gun: TJC, and Great bear for my B&M Invert thrills. Dont get me wrong, Raptor is a very fun ride, and strangely worth the 1.5 hour wait I toughed out for it, its just extraordinarily overrated. I will say, however, that the Zero-G Roll was superb as always, and the rides layout was a great one. It simply lacked the intense positive forces that a good invert is so reliant on
Very fun. I love the first drop, zero-g roll, and cobra roll, but the loop, corkscrews, and turns were nothing special, but hey, it was like the fourth invert in the world so what do u expect? AW, the C-Roll was the best part of the ride. The train kept its speed in it, and it wasnt intense enough to be painful. I luv heartline spins. Everything after the BR was nothing out of the ordinary. Aw well. I got in line early, so I didnt have to wait much thankfully. Overall, its a fun old coaster. Unfortunately, it lacks the intensity that I find on others. Its not a ride worth missing, but there are still better inverts out there.
9/10
Ive only been on three inverts (Batman, Great Bear, and this) but this one by far takes the cake. Im absolutely shocked that there are ratings here lower than 8, but hey, to each their own, I guess. This ride is big, fast, smooth and long, with plenty of nice inversions- what more could you ask for?! What I love best about this ride is that even though its so big and fast, the inversions still feel compact and intense instead of swoopy and forceless. Ive yet to go on Alpengeist or Dueling Dragons, but when I do, theyll face some serious competition against this awesome coaster!
This ride is smooth and gives some many great elements. It so much better than those bland Batman coasters at six flags parts. The inversions are great and intense. The ride offers a lot of "footchoppers." I suggest riding this front seat, its so open and the wait isnt that long. The helix at the end of the ride is intense and so much fun.
The Raptor is the 2nd best inverted coaster Ive been on. Smooth, twisty, fast, and just a great ride. I didnt come off loopy as well. Alpengeist is my favorite inverted rollercoaster though.
