Normally I wouldnt give a tilt-a-whirl anything above a 5 or 6, but Coney has again worked its magic to turn a standard family ride into another rather intense flat. Those pro Coney ops really know how to get these cars spinning and that has been a constant on all of my rides. Every ride I experience tons, and I mean tons, of spinning that pins me to my seat at the mercy of the op. Also, I have to applaud the maintenance crew for oiling the tracks very well because with all that spinning, it must be oiled well. Oh yeah and the cycle is outrageously long as well, as I generally experience cycles double the normal tilt-a-whirl. Unlike with most tilt-a-whirls, you are guaranteed to get a great ride.
The ride is one of the best Tilt-a-whirls I have been on. the operator did allot to give you a better ride and the duration was great. allot of fun and well worth a ride if your at the park. All ride wrist band is the way to go.
The ride op on this Tilt-a-Whirl is a pro and really worked the brake to give all cars great spinning action.
I liked it, but theres really nothing special.
Your average tilt-a-whirl. Ive ridden a lot of these, and theyre always fun. This ride is no exception.
I have to give this one a 7 just because its such a classic - Tilt-a-Whirls never get old. Dont pass it up - these are always a delight, and getting rarer all the time.
A standard tilt-a-whirl with no themeing. I gave it a high mark because I spun around consistentlt well, which doesnt always happen a tilt-a-whirl. To the rides credit, the operator appeared to have been trying to control the rotation speed to maximize the amount of spinning.
