Every time I walk by this ride, I always hear people screaming like little girls. Anyway, the ride is one of the best pirate ships yet. Its not shaped like one of those regular pirate ships youll find at most parks, but its shaped more like a viking ship (I think its really cool looking). If you want to get away from the coasters a little bit and you dont like Curse of Dark Kastle, try this.

This is an average pendulum ride. The appearnce was nice, however the ride didnt last long and I felt it could have gone a bit higher.

This is your basic boat swing ride. Some nice theming in the Da Vincis Garden of Invention, but it just does the basic swing. Coaster05 is correct that they do not fill it, but mostly because nobody wants to sit in the middle. It is a little smallish, compared to one in Korea that was probably twice as big, plus it was two boats next to each other, so it had a massive ride capacity. This is pretty basic. Could use an update.

Let me start by saying I am surprised at the amount of positives from the reviewers I found it to be one of the weakest boat rides I have been on. APPEARANCE-8 Like most rides at the garden it is in great shape, plenty of excellent landscaping in this area also. RIDE QUALITY-5 Did not go very high or run for very long very disapointing. CAPACITY -3 They had people wait even though the boat was nowhere close to filled very strange, boat also seemed small compared to most. FUN-4 I still got the feeling in my stomach but I longed for the one at Waldameer. RERIDE-3 It would have to be no line or first time riders to do it again. Probably my most disapointing ride at Busch. OVERALL-23 AVG 4.6 I am going to round down since most it points came from appearance, It was just very poor compared with others of this type. UPDATE: after going out East again I am beginning to realize that I am spoiled by my Midwest versions of this ride. I gave this a very slight increase.

A very good pirate ship. People on this one at Busch Gardens are usually a lot of fun with having contests and all. Lines dont really get long either, you can basically get right on.

This was my first ever swinging ship attraction I have ridden, so Iam going to base it on current standards. This ride was very enjoyable, with nice positive and negative forces throughout the ride, but it was not as I expected. I thought it would have a little more air on it, and that it would feel like a 90* drop on a roller coaster, but no such luck. But dont get me wrong, the feeling of going that steep was great. I would give it an 7, but there was someting cool on the far right seat of the boat. There was a object that told people how many gs are present at certain times on the ride. It said that there were -0.75 gs at its highest point and 2.5 gs at its top speed and lowest point. I thought that to be facinating to watch. Ride it if you have spare time in Festa Italia!

This was the first ride I rode at BGW. I was littler so I was scared of this ride. I went on with my cousin, and I pulled the lapbar ALL the way down, bruising my cousins legs. I ended up enjoying this ride a great deal.

An awesome ship ride! This ride was great! Nothing is almost as good as swinging back and forth, back and forth. It takes your stomach away!
Overall, this type of ship, which doesnt go upside-down, is better for me!

This ride is Ok. I have kind of riden it too much. But when I was little, I was terrified because even though my mom told me it wasnt going to go upside-down, i thought it was. LoL
