I have been riding Nessie since my childhood. Even to this day, I still drag my wife to it. Best ridden at night, but it is still smooth, speedy and the underground helix will always take my breath away. The only critique I can give is that somehow the designers could have figured a way to preserve some momentum so that a second chain lift wasnt neccesary.
I love this coaster..It was my first actually real coaster and its great..the helixes are intense and the loops look so great from the walkway. It maintians speed the whole ride and isnt bumpy. This is BGWs most signifigant coaster...I know Alpengeist and Apollos Chariot are great too but without Nessie the park wouldnt be the same!
Good coaster. The loops are great and it is really smooth with the helixs.
Being my first looping coaster, I loved it! I love the theme and colors. It is bueatifully placed in the park. I love the helixs, the loops, and the first drop. I love this ride, and it will always be a classic.
This ride is great! It is so beautiful looking up from the bosrdwalk thing below.
Not only does this ride provide an awesome experience, it is one of the best visual scenes designed. The interlocking loops over the river is breathtaking. I also love the helixes at the end of the ride in the tunnel.
Though old, this coaster is one of the best coasters in the park and is a must ride.
Starting its 25th season, this coaster proves that a coaster does not have to be the newest, fastest, tallest or longest to be good. A very interesting layout that makes the most of the surrounding terrain, this coaster is one great ride from its first drop over the creek all the way through to its second loop, old Nessie proves that she has stood the test of time. Not sure what it was on the last run of the night (did they turn off all breaks?), but the train was FLYING.
A classic and a must ride. This Arrow coaster is THE first coaster in the WORLD to have interlocking loops. Sadly, I have yet to see the "double-loop" (when you have a train on each loop at the same time) effect yet in my 12 years of going to Busch Gardens. Should you see or even be PART of this effect, consider yourself very lucky. I recommend sitting at the back and riding at nighttime for best effect of the ride.
this was the second Verticol loop coaster i have ridden it is still one of my favorite rides
