Rather cheesy and uneventful.

Great Pre-show. The movie itself wasnt that great though. They used the same effects over and over again. Wind in your face, water spray, and bouncing seats. Nothing amazing with this one. The actual 3D effects on screen werent that great.

This is a very cute 3D movie. The pre show is one of the best Ive seen. The show itself is a pretty standard 4D movie. The story line isnt terrible for a theme park show and the effects are cute (but very predictable). Overall, I came away from this show impressed, but not blown away.

Shrek 4-D really did have a pretty good storyline, but it wasnt as funny as the movies themselves. The picture quality was first rate, without the problem of some of the images not focusing properly that is so common in this type of attraction. The 4-D effects were also pretty good (blowing air, water spray, spiders running at your feet), but there was nothing we havent really seen before. Even the bouncing chairs, which did bounce more than normal, were not a totally new idea. Overall, this was very good, but Terminator 2 3-D and Its Tough to Be a Bug are SO good that everything else somewhat pales by comparison.

Maybe its because I like 3-D movies and I like Shrek, but I really liked this attraction. I know what you mean about the chairs though, LOL. I liked that they moved but they might have overdone it a bit...still worth seeing Id say!

Disappointing. The pre-show is long and boring, the main show is O.K but nothing special. The screen is rather small and theres a lack of in-theatre effects. Most of them involve blowing air at you. The bouncing chairs are fun but the gimmick wears out fast. The film is very good looking but not particulary funny and the 3D tricks are rather cheap. The worst 3D movie in California, a shame since its the newest. A misfire.

it was okay. It was more like a semi-sequel to the first movie. made me mad that there wasnt much interaction.

Good: Well the story plot it not too bad, and the dragons look pretty cool.

Bad: Over use to vibrating chairs. The whole time the horse is running (2 minutes) THe chair just goes BUmp BUmp BUmp BUmp....Kind of lame.
Also its not really exceptional, alot of the other 4-D movies i watched are better
