Definitely nothing spectacular, but a very nice little mine ride. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It&#39.s got nice speed, a good track layout, not too short or too long, nice views of the creek and El Toro, and is smooth with lots of slow spirals. Not much airtime, no drops, and for me is not very rerideable since I&#39.d rather ride the more intense coasters in the park. There was little to no wait for this coaster and the ride operator did a &#39.Choo choooo!&#39. at each dispatch. I don&#39.t think she appreciated it though when my friends choo chooed back at her as we rolled by in the back of the train! Other than that, the most memorable part of this ride for me was briefly flying above the creek!

This is a fun steel mine train coaster built by Arrow in 1974. It is 69 feet tall and 2,444 feet long. It has 3 trains, with five 6 seat cars. This coaster is unique in that it only has one lift. The best part of the ride is the drop over the water. This ride is fun, rerideable, has a large capacity, and a good ride duration. This coaster is a good addition to the coaster lineup at SFGAdv.

My second Arrow Mine Train in recent memory. Was much better than Hershey’s Trailblazer. It was faster, longer, and just overall better. Some of the drops looked like they were actually designed for airtime in a way. Also, it was definitely one of the smoother Arrows I have ridden. The ride isn’t all that special in any way, shape, or form, but is better than it looks at least.

I really enjoyed it for some reason, I liked how it dropped and turned over the water. It is better to go on at night since there arent many lights.

When I visited the park in 1977 I rode this for the first time. It was my first mine train... it was actually one of my first "Permanent installation" coasters (i.e. not Wildcats, Zyklons, and other portables, even those at regular parks). Now riding this for the first time after a gap of 30 years I still rate it as the best mine train style coaster that I have encountered. fast, forceful and with some pops of air, it is still a fun coaster after all of these years.

You gotta enjoy it! Thats my motto for TPC, and this is enjoyable! This ride should have bigger drops though, and for it to also be taller. That would probably make it better, and its weird that theyre are helixes at the very top of the lift hill, but overall a great family ride!

This is one of my favorite mine train rides, especially the finale airtime hill and the great views of El Toro Decent little coaster and definitely not one to miss if you like to drive up your coaster count with cheap little kiddy rides lol

I dont think this is a bad mine train at all. Of course, its nowhere near as exciting as Nitro or El Toro, but its a family coaster and its not supposed to be. Out of the three family coasters in the park (Skull Mountain, Blackbeards Treasure Train, and this), I think this is the best one. The helix is fun, and theres a surprisingly fun little pop of airtime over the lake at the end. The loading time is a bit slow, but the lines are so short (Ive been to SFGadv tons, and the wait has NEVER been more than 20 minutes) that it doesnt matter. Its worth at least one ride, if only to add to your coaster count. Also, this ride just got a beautiful new coat of paint, so it looks brand-new.
