The ride itself is pretty good. It shows you how chocolate is made and even gives you a free sample at the end.
Its free they give you chocolate at the end. That along gives it an 8 in my book plus, it is a very cool way to see how chocolate is made.
This is te dumbest tour ever. Its nothing but a tourist trap and a gift shop. Its just boring and slow. Why cant we see real chocolate being made rather than plastic.
I fondly remember my family vacation to Hershey Park many years ago, and this attraction sticks in my memory. If you are trying to loose weight, then do not ride as the smell of warm chocolate will make even the chubby to skinny guy from Subway to take a big fall. Besides that, the tour is informative and fun, and at the early age I was when I visited the park, I was taken back into all what goes into making a chocolate bar. Great attraction in a wonderful resort park.
MMMMmmmmmmmm.... chocolate. This ride is one that I will cherrish forever... especially with the free hershey chocolate sample at the end!
This ride is better than most educational rides, like the ones in EPCOT, because I LOVE CHOCOLATE! It was pretty cool to see how chocolate is made. Seeing all of that gooey, melted chocolate pouring out of nowhere and rivers of it flowing all over the place makes you so hungry! But then you get a free piece of chocolate at the end so its all good! A must see for chocolate lovers!
Free, baby!! Thats the best part. The show is great, too, but the free part sticks out. Thats b/c Ive never been in the park. :-) (will be there this year...hopefully) I was there for a drum corps show in 1994 and just remember getting out of the 90 degree heat!
A very enjoyable dark ride! The smell of chocolate is quite intense, and the whole ride is pretty fascinating. Being free is also a plus!
I really like these types of rides. I guess thats why i miss some of the ones they took out at epcot. I have a short attention span so for me this is the perfect way to learn how chocolate was made. Just make sure there is not a line since most times you can just walk on. APPEARANCE-10 The outside line is fantastic and the inside is still very clean with lots to look at. RIDE QUALITY- 8 It could have some more effects such as the heat or smell. Maybe a way to make your car shake when they shke the akmond tree. CAPACITY-10 You know how these continous track rides are. People just fly through it. I have never had to wait longer then 5 minutes. FUN-8 For what it does is fun and I really like it, but Im trying to not be too biased in my opinion. RERIDE-9 For me its a ten but hey sometimes Im just a dork like that. It has almost no line, Its free and relaxing why wouldnt you go. OVERALL 45 AVG. 9.0 Is this ride really as good as Storm Runner or Wildcat which also got nines from me. Of course not but I believe this stacks up real well as far as simulated tour experiences go. Plus I love this park and this is always the last thing I do. I can almost smell the chocolate and its making me tear up.
Well its good, its just a guided tour. It is a good thing to ride before the park opens. If you are a chocolate fan, unlike me, whip out your wallets at the end. You will be hungry, they drop you off in front of the candyshop, and they have really big chocolate bars. (think as big as the computer screen.) good marketing.
