Best wild mouse coaster Ive been on. Despite being in a kids park, this mouse really packed quite a punch. I ran into this park simply for the two coaster credits and really wasnt expecting much, so this really was a pleasant surprise. The turns on this one were far scarier than on modern mice really captured fear in me that it would indeed fall of the edge. Not only were the turns greatly executed, but the drops on this one were very quick and actually had some air. Also, the helix at the end is a real treat and actually provides some good Gs. The cars on this coaster also look really cool looking and are very comfortable.

Unique and rare ride. The turns were very tight and much better than on modern mouses and the drops were very zippy. I especially liked the helix and the cars were certainly original too.

A very old-fashioned steel wild mouse coaster, the Tree Top Racers deliver a fun ride to both novice kids visiting Adventure City and coaster enthusiasts alike. The cars seat one or two people (one in front of the other) and chug their way up the lift hill pretty loudly. The whole ride is actually quite noisy, like a trash can rolling and bouncing down a hill, but I guess thats part of the rides charm. The ride begins with about four or five unbanked switchbacks typical of a wild mouse. They are executed reasonably slowly so they dont totally give the effect of the car ready to hop the track. However, you then hit the drops, and this is where the ride really became fun and exciting. You pick up a good amount of speed on the drops, so that when you hit the next turns, it sure does feel like you are either going to go flying off into the park or out onto Beach Boulevard. The second series of drops take place right underneath the first, and I defy anyone to not duck their head the first time around. A warped little spiral finishes the ride before popping up into the brake run. Despite the herky-jerky motions of the ride, the cars were padded, roomy enough especially for a single rider, and quite comfortable. Adventure City is definitely a kiddie park, but, aside from the Tree Top Racers, there is a small but effective drop tower and a quite dizzying spinning balloon ride that are appropriate for everyone. Worth a stop also as its right down the street from Knotts Berry Farm.

Very nice steel mouse coaster. I agree with the previous reviewer about the cars which are also very comfortable and heavily padded, if memory serves.

Funky ride with some nice head choppers. The cars were totally original. A hidden treat worth a stop for enthusiasts.
