I totally forgot to ever rate these and some of the other rides here. This is a classic arrow coaster. This coaster is a headbanger with great vertical force. This rides weakness is setting. There is none. The loops are great and the butterfly turn is amazing.
Headbanger. Time to consider a replacement for this old-timer. This ride was the first where I encountered line jumping on my whole trip. It is an ugly ride in a barren setting.
Good old fashioned fun, with no line. the bumpiness takes away points though.....
This Ride Is Rad, I Dont Know About You Neck Hurting Like Everyone Says But This Ride Is Awesome With The Great Inversions. Kik Ass!
Scream Machine is simply a great ride beacause its fast, has numerous early style inversions, and because its an Arrow! The OTSRs are like old hard rubber which your face gets aquanited with in a hard way throught the ride. The curve going into the midcourse brake is the ultimate airtime/pain fest ever. And the boomerang and corkscrews after the midcourse brake are all slow and bumpy. Doesnt sound good, but the overall ride is so much fun! The first section before the midcourse is taken at breakneck speed, the train steamrolls through 3 tight vertical loops which give people sitting near the back of the train an upclose view of people in front of the train. After "deadmans curve" you hit the midcourse brakes and navigate the rest of the ride much more slowly. The second half consists of a bowtie/pretzel element (2 trips upsidedown during that) and 2 corkscrews; the last 4 inversions are taken at an unbeleiveably slow speed. Id also like to mention the on-ride photo section is located in the "broken turn" before the corkscrews. I call it the "broken turn" because its the only sharp banked curve that I have ever seen that also serves as a bottom to a small drop. In other words the track levels out while still banked which thrusts riders to the right. Like said, the on-ride photo is right there which is why everyone in the photos are always wincing in pain. **Here are some tips for dealing with the rides roughness: If you hold on to the upper part of the harness then you can stablize yourself a bit and not get jolted around. The backseat on this is really good, but incredibly rough. Look out for the first 2 loops in the back seat, the last car flys into the loops pretty fast, but then slows down right as you travel up through it which makes the rider jolt downwards. I hurt my neck once when that happened; it wasnt bad, but uncomfortable nonetheless. Just tilt your head down when you enter the vertical loops and you should be fine. All in all, GASM is a wonderful Arrow megalooper.
This ride is very intense and rough but I love this ride one good thing is it never has a line
Great ride, No queueing at all, Rough, Intense Falling Apart, My kinda ride!
An ok looping coaster but very rough. Worth going on if there is a short wait.
A decent ride with some problems. The inversions are good but sometimes there are painfull transitions to contend with. The brakes at midpoint are annoying.
I was very disapointed with this ride. It looks so high, fast and fun, but when I got on it, I thought differently. My neck hurt after riding it because the over-the-shoulder restraints were hard. Also, the mid-course brakes are painfull and they bring the train to a complete stop. Ouch!
