This is still a very fun coaster despite the fact that it has gotten quite rough over the years. GASM is a massive Arrow mega-looper wit ha huge drop and seven inversions. The first drop is excellent, with tremendous speed heading up into the first loop. The vertical loops on this ride are all small and really intense. The trim brakes slow the train down for the 2nd and 3rd loops, but they will still make many riders disoriented. Then the train hits the trim brakes before heading through the last four inversions. There is definitely some painful head-banging, epecially towards the end. That is my only complaint with GASM. Other than that, it is a great coaster. It is worth the pain in my opinion.

The Great American Scream Machine is a very uncomfortable ride. It was designed by Arrow Dynamics back in the 80s. The loops in this ride are too small for the huge drop this ride has. Perhaps if the loops were bigger this ride could have had more potential.

This ride is really starting to show age. It used to be a alright coaster but gets worse every year. Its pretty fun in the very back because you get whipped over the first drop but the trim breaks ruin it after the first very high loop. And the mid course breaks slow the train down to about 2 mph. after that the heart shaped loops and the 2 corkscrews are pretty slow and leaves you feeling sorry for a great coaster gone bad.

I loved this coaster. It had a short wait and really had an intense first half, especially hitting the mid course brakes. I dont think this ride is that rough and have ridden much, much, much rougher rides

This ride is basically there to have something to look at when you are parking your car. It is reallllly rough and gave me a bad headache. It has seen better days, along with most Arrow loopers.

A good ride that is showing age. Is a good ride for those who can stand bumping thier heads. This ride is realitivly tall and very intense. Normally the line is short. If you want you can ride it almost nonstop.

An excellent ride that is longer than most metal coasters and has lots of inversions. The big scale of the ride is excellent and rivals Medusa and The Chiller. Usually it is blessed with a short queue. It used to be rough at times, but since 2004 the ride has been smooth. A new paint job for 2005 has improved the rides looks, but landscaping is still non-existant.
