Wowwee! I just went to Oaks Park last weekend and THIS was my favorite ride! I rode it 17 times! No kidding!

So it starts you off with a 38' lift, a turnaround, and a 32' drop that will pop you out of your seat (if in the back car) then you go back up another hill (dont have your mouth open if in the front car, you'll bite your tongue). Then here comes the fun part, the loop! Best part of the ride! After that, another head banger if in the front car. So if you're in the front car, keep your head pressed against the back of the seat right after going up the hill from the loop, or you'll regret it. Soon after you go into your first helix (when they say keep your hands in the car at all times, they mean it. you could lose a hand here) then another helix. Well, that's it. You may have to ride a few times to get your full, because it's quite quick. This ride is a portable coaster, and by far the smoothest portable coaster I've ever ridden.

This ride is very average with no particularly intense or unique elements. It wasnt as rough as some other portable coasters that I have ridden, which puts it in the middle of my ratings range.

Looping Thunder is a compact Pinfari coaster. It goes up and down, then up and down again before entering the very small-radius and therefore quite forceful loop, and then through a couple of helices in different directions at opposite ends of the ride. It is admittedly pretty fun for a smaller, low-tech coaster, but it is also a head-banger. And a neck-banger too. Be prepared!

disregard the previous review, it was posted by a park employee and therefore biased.

This is actually designed as a compact portable ride, and therefore is not paticulary smooth, only 40 feet tall, and not terribly exciting. I would still rather ride this small pinfari coaster then most Arrow loopers, but its not anything special.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!! That is my single word description of this one. This has got to be my favorite. While not as intense as the Eagle, for me its the greatest there is, but Im a coaster fiend and this one does NOT dissappoint. I personally havent operated this one yet, but it is one of my most ridden rides. Dont wear your hat on this one, if you like yer hat. Only word of advice I have is after going through the loop when you go back up and crest that hill for the immediate left turn, put your hands on the side of your head to protect it, as it whips around pretty quick. If yer in the back no need to worry about it. This one is a perfect 10, and a MUST ride in my book.
