For what it is its a decent coaster that certainly is better than the parks old galaxi coaster. While not the most revolutionary coaster out there, it does occupy a very small plot of land and is able to maximize on intensity and fun. That being said, this is a pretty intense coaster despite its size. Many of the swooping drops really pile on the Gs and theres one particular helix that really stands out in terms of its power. Now this coaster does have teeth though, and what I mean by that is that it is a tad bumpy and rough at times. It didnt ruin the whole experience, but it definitely would have been better without those rough spots. Still its a pretty good coaster for what it is.

This is the best of the hurricanes I have been on. Compared to the other ones, this one was smoother and faster. That created some very strong Gs on the helixes and I almost even blacked out (never happened to me before)! The first drop also seemed a bit steeper on this one too.

Let me start by saying I had a great time inside this very small park. TheY do a nice job putting a lot of stuff in a small area. APPEARANCE-5 It looks pretty much like a traveling coaster and could use some maintenance. Nothing nice about the look, but the way it was packed in is pretty cool. CAPACITY-6 They loaded pretty quick, but nothing spectacular. RIDE QUALITY-8 It ran smooth and intense and packed a lot of old school coastering in a small area. FUN-10 Larry, my wife and myself were laughing in line that this ride was built by Antons lesser known brother Albert. Then the ride op was over the top, then we were convinced the ride would be brutal and it was actually fun. Good times. RERIDE-5 Not high on this since the park is in area that I wont be visiting anytime soon, and the price per ride was pretty high. However that will never diminsh the fun that is Adventureland. OVERALL-34 AVG-6.8 I will go with the 7 just because it was so much fun with Larry.

A good ride in a bad park. The ride, over-all, isnt that great, but it has one redeeming factor that caused me to give this an 8. That factor is the drop-loop. That thing caused my adrenal gland to explode! I actually blacked out at this part of the ride, at the very bottom, which is REALLY rare for me. I also liked the view from the top of the loud lift hill. It gives you a great overview before throwing you down the first drop onto an airtime hill. So Id say, get this credit if you live nearby, or youre just passing through the LIE and find yourself in the parking lot. Dont travel too far for it.

Adventureland is my home park. This is the only big coaster in the park so I go on it every time Im there. It is a bit rough and it could use a good paint job. But its intense with fun helixes and drops. That twisting drop is really intense but awesome. Also I wish the brakes werent so abrubt. But its a good roller coaster and shouldnt be missed, considering its in Long Islands only amusement park.

Hurricane is nothing great but is still kind of fun. It goes through twisted drops and helixes that can be rough at times. This ride is the best attraction Adventureland has to offer.

I dont see any reason to give it lower than an 8. The sharp turn + drop combo is really exhilerating and youll feel like your head is going to hit the supports as you rush past. My favorite in adventureland though adventureland is a below average park

Not too bad of a ride, though a bit rough and uncomfortable. But it does have some nasty drops and high banked turns, and some intense laterals. Efficant, fast operators also helped keep the line moving, and big plus.

The ride is pretty rough. If you want to ride it, be ready for those steep banks and sharp turns! If youre not ready, the train will just whip you around, so keep your head rested. Overall, its a great ride because it gives you non-stop force until youre actually at the finish.
