Fun flume, but just it didnt totally impress me. The revolving loading station was cool and this has a very fast moving line thanks to it. However, the rides course was for the most part elevated, whereas I prefer ones that stay close to the ground. The logs did travel very quickly throughout the course and the one giant drop was great, as it was steep and fast. However, the bunny hill at the bottom was a bit rough, but I got pretty wet so that made up for it. Unfortunately the ride is on the short side.

This is a classic and fun log flume ride. Nice looking side by side final drops.

This Flume is tied for my second favorite flume I have been on. I liked how there like a bunny hop at the bottom of the hill so you bounce out of your seat, plus you dont get too wet, just enough to cool you off.

The ride is a decent length, but it it is uneventful. I spent most of my time on the ride checking out Great Bear. An average flume.

I really enjoyed this ride. This was another Hershey Park ride that had a surprising intensity... It was more intense than I had anticipated it to be. (Thats a GOOD thing!!! ) The ride had some speedy turns that could get a bit rough, but it was rough in more of an exciting way than a discomforting way. The drop, of course, was the best part of the ride! The only thing that brought this ride up to an 8 from a 6 or a 7 was the hilarious expression on my aunts face on the on-ride photo... PRICELESS!!!

If it had a second drop Id give it a 9, but its still a great ride and shouldnt be missed.

The line is never really long and the cars are comfortable. Word of advice: watch out in the section of trough when youre leaving the station and going towards the lift hill. Theres a pipe right above you where the people in line throw pennies on top of. Occasionally someone misses and hits a rider in the head. The trough looks like it will fall apart sometimes. Anyway, there are 2 lift hills, and on the 2nd lift hill, sometimes if you have a happy ride operator they will race you. They run up the stairs on the side of the lift. Anyway, theres only one drop on this flume, but it still makes me scream every time. They take a picture of you halfway down the hill on this one.

Random Fact ~ There are 30 boats on the Coal Cracker.

A nice little flume ride. The curves are fast and sharp. The drop is pretty nice but can get a little rough at times.

Hats flying. People screaming. Water splattering. All sounds like the making of a pretty good ride, eh? Well, that is what Coal Cracker is. Basically, it is your typical flume ride with a fairly good splash landing. However, I have some good memories from this. On a family trip to the park back in the early 90s, my uncle was wearing one of my cousins Colorado Rockies hats while on this ride. Needless to say, on about our third go around on this ride, it took flight while our flume was charging down the drop. It could have been saved if it werent for my mom (who is scared of heights) with her face planted into the back of my cousin in front of her, and me who could have caught it if I wasnt like 6 inches tall at the time. So later that night my cousin got a hat from my uncle (a 49s hat), about 59 throws and 30 dollars later at the football toss game. Anyway, the ride is a lot of fun. It is a fairly simple flume ride that takes you around through some trees and some things like that. It is a good time and you have a pretty good chance of getting wet. Just remember though, make sure your fitted hat is nice and snug.

A good old Arrow Hydroflume. This ride has the side by side drops whch is nice and gives a nice view of Great Bear and Sooper Dooper Looper before the drops.
