This was a really good wild mouse, actually. Quick, snapping turns with VERY little braking involved. I actually feared for my life a few times on this thing, which in the eyes of Mack is ultimate success in a wild mouse
This is a VERY cool ride! Between its frequent and small, yet speedy little drops, the sensation that you are about to fall off of the ride at the top, and the pure joy that it brought to my friends and I, I kept coming back for more by riding this ride several times, and it NEVER got old!!! What made it a 9 instead of a 10 was the fact that it felt like it was a bit too short... But it was still great! Dont miss it!!
This is the best mouse Ive ever been on! The lift is fast, the curves are nice and sharp, The hills are nice and smooth. However it could use another hill like the first. Best of they dont slam a brake on at the end like on most mouse coasters. They have a lot of cars (30 or something) all going at once so you get on and off fast and dont have to wait in line all day. So here is the mouse ever built.
While this is vastly superior to most "small park" Wild Mouse coasters Ive ridden, it still leaves a lot to be desired. The main problem I have with Wild Mice is that theyre always braked too heavily, and Hersheys is no exception. While it wasnt braked nearly as heavily as certain other ones Ive been on, it was still enough to make the trip forgettable and enough to make me skip a re-ride. Im not asking for the brakes to be shut off entirely, merely for them to be used a whole lot less. The ride would be far more intense and enjoyable that way. Of course, I guess since theyre marketed as family rides, I can see why the brakes are applied to heavily, but it still ruins the ride for those without kids. Er, well, again, Hersheys was okay, but not the best mouse Ive ever been on.
One of the better Wild Mouse coasters. Short quick drops and quick lateral turns. Everything you could want in a Wild Mouse coaster.
Hersheyparks Wild Mouse is one of the best wild mouse coasters I have been on. Located towards the far end of the park in the Midway America section, this large royal blue, Mack wild mouse is a compact coaster. With many tight hairpin turns elevated high above the ground, on the rides lower level are a few steep drops. Because of its high capacity, the Wild Mouse generally has a 10-15 minute wait. Also helping the capacity is that the 4-seat cars constantly move through the station and dont stop allowing for quick dispatching. I enjoy the front more because of the great view and excitement of feeling like you will go over the edge. Once you begin, you rapidly ascend one of the fastest lift hills I have ever been on. At the top, you speed around a few hairpin turns high off the ground. Unlike most wild mouse coasters, this one doesnt use trim brakes creating some viscious and intense turns with powerful laterals. Afterwards, you speed down a few small drops that provide some pops of air-time. Your picture is taken during one of them. Then you go back to the station ending your ride. My only complaint is that it doesnt have any large drops like most wild mouse coasters. I highly recommend the Wild Mouse to any wild mouse lover as its one of the best versions around.
This is a great WIld Mouse, one of the biggest ones ive seen. The turns are very fast.
Fun wild mouse coaster. The turns are good and the drops are sharp; it really is deceiving in that it is more intense than you would expect.
Wow
, this ride sucks. Its painfully rough and is completely pointless.
Most definitely the best wild mouse-type coaster that Ive been on. Great, scary sharp twists and turns at the top that have yet to be beat. I keep hoping Ill find another one I like just as much, but so far, no real competitors.
