I guess i must be getting old (im only 22!) but this was just too rough for me. Seems like its aged, i remember riding it when i was a kid and loved it. We were right in the middle, but I swear that my brain was shaking inside my skull. I can take abuse, but this was a little too much for me.
Wow! This coaster is a fast, and speedy ride with a great first drop, twisting turns, and helixes. However, it is sometimes rough. Ride in the front seat for the smoothest ride.
I like all the drops and turns. This is a great woody, but I still like steel ones better.
this ride is very fun! this wooden coaster has many sharp turns and sudden drops. i loved the first hill the most...it curves!
Really awesome ride when it opened. Doesnt matter now...It has aged and become a very rough ride. It almost takes all of the fun out of it. Id rather spend my time riding Lightning Racer.
The Wildcat is another GCI masterpiece much like ROAR, GWAZI and Lightning Racer. The Wildcat is a cyclone coaster that crosses itself many times. It only goes 50mph but it seems a LOT faster.. espiecially at night. All that combined with some unexpected ejector airtime makes for a top 10 ride even though some people think its too rough..
A really good woodie tat has aged well. Yes, its a litle rough but that certainly adds to the ride. From start to finish this ride offers some great - ad + gs. Line doesnt moe the fastest - so be prepared to wait a bit on crowded days.
Lots of fun twists and turns make this ride great. However, the ride violent i would have enjoyed this more if it were smoother.
This is a very fun coaster. It is fast, unpredictable, and wild. It is less about speed and airtime and instead focuses on turns and twists. It does a good job at it too, because you never know whats coming. Wildcat lack a little in terms of speed and drop height, but makes up for it in wild turns and twists. It is rough even for a woodie and rather jerky, but still a very fun coaster. If you go to Hershey, check this out.
My whole review is based on only one ride from the front at 10:00 oclock at night after a hot, tiring July day. I had to be shoehorned into this thing. So with this can strapped to my butt, I slid out into the darkness -- and survived. There is something exhilarating about surviving. It was like free-wheeling down South Mountain on a skateboard. I remember air and trees, in that order, over and over. Lateral Gs, negative Gs, wood everywhere. It scared the hell out of me. After it was over, I thought I definitely must do that again!
