I love Batman and it looks really cool. They ran this for a really long time, but it just was slow compared to others and it actually got boring halfway through the ride.

this seemed like a lame swing ride compared to the one at LC. I think that six Flags needs to do something to make it more intense. I was simply bored.

The Crime Wave is Six Flags New Englands great wave swinger. Located on the South End next to Batman- the Dark Knight, the Crime Wave has a Batman theme. The entire swing is decorated with pictures of various Batman villians and it is painting dark purple just like Batman- the Dark Knight is. At night the ride has royal blue lights to keep with the Batman colors. I am a fan of Batman so I liked the swings appearance. I only rode Crime Wave once and it was a walk-on. However, when I passed it earlier in the day it seemed to have a one-cycle wait. Crime Wave has a huge capacity thanks to the massive amount of swings the ride has. Loading wasnt too bad considering it was a swing ride, but others I have been on were faster. Once Crime Wave began it slowly rose off the ground and began spinning around. Eventually the ride reached full height and speed. Though the speed was a tad slower than some of the other versions I have been on, Crime Wave made up with it with its cycle. I got a very long and satisfying ride that lasted well over five minutes. Im not sure if it was because no one else was in line or if it always is like this, but this far and away was the longest cycle I got on any of Six Flags New Englands flat rides. The movement was just as good as the other swings like this I have been on. Overall, Crime Wave is my new favorite swing ride thanks to its very long cycle. Anyone who enjoys wave swingers shouldnt dare miss Crime Wave.

This is just an average wave swinger with a meaner than average staff. They dont let you ride if youre wearing flip-flops.
Update: on my last visit Ive noticed they run it WAY too slow and the chains are in desperate need of replacement.

Just a basic, classic swing. Nothing special.

Not the most thrilling ride but its definetely beautiful. The look of it raises my rating.

You basic swing ride. Nothing special here, not really worth a ride unless you have a season pass. You can ride these anywhere.

A classic swing ride that the whole family seems to enjoy.

not the best ride not the worst ride but worth the time to ride never a long line it an "after dinner mint" for me
