pretty fast, not many good drops. the loop is the best loop i have ever been on
One of the few looping rides without the OTSR...thats a good thing. Though hardly intense by todays standards, it remains a classic and has a good ending with the helix.
The Sooperdooperlooper is a steel sit down roller coaster. (1 inversion). It was built by Schwarzkopf in 1977. It is 81' tall, it is 2,615' long. It is fun, rerideable, fast, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
Exiting the station, youll take a quick turn to the right onto the lift, which speeds up in the middle. A dip to the leftis before the first drop, which produces a fair amount of airtime in the back. The loop is outstanding as it is intense yet enjoyable. The ride then turns to the left before diving back into the loop and turning to the right and entering a tunnel. At the end youll encounter a wicked little s-curve before hitting the MCBR, which barely slows the train down. The next part, the helix, is intense and very enjoyable as it dives into the ravine. A wonderful ride with makes great use of the terrain.
I liked this ride a lot when I went on it. Its fast and fun. The ride also has a good setting, winding around Great Bear and the trees. Its nice how an old ride like this can be so fun after 30 years of operation.
Not a beautiful ride, but to look at it is to understand from whence all of our multi-element free forms were born. Still a good ride after all these years and makes great use of the terrain and lake. We’ll miss Mr. Schwarzkopf.
I thought this ride was really fun, the loop was so crazy because of its more circular shape. The rest after the loop was pretty tame but still fun.
This ride really isnt much. It has a decent drop and a pretty intense loop but the rest of the ride is tame. I like the lap bar on the trains and the setting/terrain but the layout is too simple.
An awesome Schwarzkopf coaster. Its cool that it was the first looping coaster on the east coast, too. It still holds up as a pretty fun ride. I like the loop. Also I have never seen this coaster with a line. A walk on coaster can never be a bad thing, IMO.
A good Schwarzkopf looper with a cool tunnel, and a sweet helix around a rocky hillside. Be sure to keep your head pressed firmly against the headrest when going through the loop, or youll hurt your neck.
