From what I remember, I liked the original story of this attraction much better. Having a battle of power between Zues and Posidion was much better than having a battle between Posidion and a character named Darkonon that isnt based on anything besides possibly Star Wars Darth Maul.
The outside of the building is amazing. The crumbled statue of Posidion with the temple in the back ground is the best exterior of any attraction in Islands of Adventure. The line on the inside could use more themeing. All they have is some greek/roman type artifacts here and there and some signs giving you background information for the story. Then the show starts with your guide coming out and talking to people while they are still in the queue line. Its hard to see them in all the spots for that show, and you could hear them even if you are not going into the show yet which kinds of ruins it if you cant see them, or if you hear the same thing twice. It was much better in the old version where the actors came out and started talking once you were in the Chamber of Sacrifices after the doors were closed. Then the effects in the next few rooms are good. The doors opening up with all the lasers and stuff with the face saying the spell is good, and then the water vortex is the best feature of the attraction. Where else can you walk through a tunnel surrounded by water? The final battle sequense is somewhat good with how the room opens up. It took me a few times to figure out where the walls and the exit hallway went. (The walls go up into the ceiling and the exit hallway folds up into itself). The final scene was much better in the old version though, and there is not enough water falling to make decent screens. They should have done the water in a spray coming up from the floor like in Fantasmic.

Overall its okay. See it at least once or twice, but if youre pressed for time, see spiderman before this.

I LOVE ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE-.... but this ride SUCKS!!!! If you are visiting this park PLEASE save your time. The only reason it doesnt get a one is because the building is cool. But you wait in these dark halls for a long time hearing this endless loop of annoying music. And I HATE STANDING FOR THESE RIDES WHY CANT THEY PUT IN SEATS? And they pack so many people into this tight space, its uncomfortable. The effects arent even good- its so STUPID. The only thing this ride did was hurt my feet. I thought the storyline about escaping related to the audience wanting to leave- haha. Save your time at IOA- and go on all the other great rides. IM REALLY NOT JUST SAYING THIS TO BRING THE RATING DOWN. SORRY TO ALL YOU POSEIDONS FURY LOVERS.

For something with so much potential, this squandered it horribly. The outside of the temple is incredible, the sets inside are nice, even the tunnel of water is impressive. But the HORRID 70s style action sequence finally is just bad bad bad. It reminded me too much of the awful 70s SHAZAM! live action show. Just bad effects, bad costumes, & bad actors. The water screens were nice, and suited Poseidon, but are used much more effectively in FANTASMIC and are really hurt here by the horrid acting.

This was pretty cool. I dont see it every time I go, but Ill occasionaly stop and see it. The part where you go into the the water tunnel is amazing. The battle between Poseidon and the red guy(cant think of his name) is pretty good. The theming of the building outside is incredible. The arm over here and his foot over there, its really cool. 8 / 10.

Another amazing IOA presentation. The technology is to be marveled at as well as the sheer magic they perform before your eyes.

This little show was decently good. The whole water vortex concept is pretty neat, and the fact that they lower and raise the wall on the last room so fast is pretty cool too. I do agree SEAMASTER about having been able to see the original Spiel cause this one is inda corny, but it has to be appropiate for kids also i guess.

Expected more than just a show. Good special effects, but only a one time stop. If you havent done this, its alright. Not worth more than one trip to see.

I regret to inform...With the grandeur of the building and grounds, I expected more than was presented. I did not know what the show was but the guide/assistant did not do much for me. I was expecting a little more than just 3 rooms and a little fire/water. The best part of the show was the water tunnel. Special efects were good, the guide was a little corny. I wish that I could have seen this before the revamping. Sorry gang, in the time it took to see this, I could have rode both dragons again.

Its still as good as the day it opened even though being changed. The water tunnel is very unique. Only at IOA!

Theres only one word that can describe Poseidons Fury: Amazing. This show is incredible! The storyline is interesting and the special effects (pyrotechnics, fountains, water tunnel ) are all very well done. Islands of Adventure doesnt advertise this ride much, and I didnt really know what it was at first, but I ended up loving it! Islands of Adventure at its best.
