Still one of my favorite Inverts and the reason I love it, is the same reason others hate it. I love the runs of track between elements. It is even better in the front seat. APPEARANCE-10 I really like the colors, the name and the way it goes through the other rides. I also like the view over the water. CAPACITY-10 I have been in the park six times and have never waited over 5 minutes. RIDE QUALITY-9 It is a little short when comparing it to other top inverts. FUN-10 I have never had a bad experience on it. RERIDE-10 My favorite ride at my fourth favorite park. OVERALL-49 AVG-9.8 For me it is just another great ride on my coaster list.

Good but... This I have to say is not that spectatular of a coaster. Dont get me wrong, it does give you a good ride, but it just dosent compare to great B&M like Montyyu and Talon. This coaster is not that intense and I do not like it that much.

AWESOME, an incredible ride. I just rode it for the first time yesterday, and not only was it my first invert, it was also only my second looper, only after SooperDooperLooper that same day. It may move down in my rankings after I ride some more intense coasters and inverts. Anyways onto the ride. A long wait, 60 minutes when I was there but well worth it. Also make sure you bear the exrtra wait for the front seat, the view is INCREDIBLE! Well you head up the 124 foot lift hill into a helix that no one ever sees, which is pretty cool, then you plunch to the ground, into what in the front seat looks like right into the lake! you then head into a large vertical loop, and then an inverted turn around thing(Im not sure what its called, if someone knows, please tell me) Then you head into an intense barrel roll, into a run over the lake, and it ends with an exciting corkscrew into the station. An absolutely excellent ride

This ride is a true beaut to Hershey Park, and it makes me smile to see that they actually crammed another coaster into their park. The helix before the drop is really intense, especailly in the front seat. In plus, the order of elements seem to have a nice flow to them. I just wish it were a bit longer.

This was my first inverted coaster. It has a nice first drop and after that many twists and turns everywhere. Riding this at night is even better, you have no idea where you are! A must ride at Hershey.

I love it! I have a season pass and i ride it every time. There is never a line. It is a little short though.

Great Bear has a great, unique layout which makes it an awesome ride. It winds through the Sooperdooperlooper and goes over the lake. I wish it was a bit longer, though.

The Great Bear is a steel sit down roller coaster. (inverted). It has 4 invesions. It was built by B&M in 1998. It is 124' tall, 2,800' long. It is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

The Great Bear is worthy of a 9 in the front, but anywhere else a 7. Average it out and you get the 8 rating. The front is intense and gives awesome visuals, but anywhere else the ride is forceless and boring (except for the helix, and the zero-g roll is great anywhere of course). The ride has some much potenial. Another corkscrew, or a cobra roll would most likely make this one of the greatest inverts. Sadly, its ending and shortness hold it back. Give me Talon anyday.

Great Bear is a great inverted coaster with an interesting and different layout. The only problem is the length of this ride. It could be longer, but because of space this might be a problem. My second favoreit ride at the park after Lightning Racer.
