Review of Polar Coaster @ Story Land

A great family ride. Fun and like the parks flume a great us of space. It travels back and forth and then goes up a small hill before a downward helix and over and another hill then up to the brake station. the only down fall is that they slow it down to much at the trim brake before the helix. This newer one is far more reliable but not as thrilling as the park original coaster that had a double water splash.

What is the old Iceberg Coaster people mention? I never went to the park when it was there. Can you describe the entire ride?

I love the fact his review says the rating would be higher. You do realize 10 is as high as it goes?

Coaster thats been fixed. i need to start rewriting my posts instead of just adding to them. Anyways the Ice burg coaster was the parks first coaster. The layout was very similar to the one that is there now. as in the way it zig zags back and forth along the hill side. the old one was allot more terrain oriented and in turn a bit more intense. The coaster has a air time hill in the location of the trim brake on the new one and there both has a helix. The coaster then darted out Splashed int eh water. can out turned right and hit the water again. then it climbed back up and into the station. the station of the old coaster was a bit lower then the new one.

Thanks. That ride sounded fun, too bad it closed down. Wasnt it for reliability reasons?

Safety, reliability, and a bit more intense then they wanted. so it was technically upgraded. This new coaster has been very little trouble.

The only complaint I have about the Polar Coaster is that Id like if it had more cars, but that cant happen because of the small station.

if the brake system was reprogrammed They might be able to get one more care on it. But that would have some majer laterals at the 2-4th turns. But if you read my TR from last month on story land Even with a full queue the wait isnt all that long.

I know that the Polar Coasters line moves very quickly since they fill the whole car.

Basically the case. and they have two trains operating. Ive heard Rumors that they have 2 stand by trains in the maintenance area to swap out if there are any problems. but on my visit were were lines up outside the station and the wait was around 30 minutes. longest wait of my day but Dr Geysers was slightly longer.

I never have a wait for Dr. Geysers. Its always a walk-on. I tell the person who checks the heights of children at the entrance of Dr. Geysers that Im a single rider and I get on with no wait.

Even if I am in a group of more, we all go up to the station and fill in any open seats though we cant ride together.

Ive done that on Pandemonium. Normally the wait isnt that bad. I dont mind waiting 15-20 minutes for it.
