Although this coaster offers a merely decent initial drop, its double-out-and-back design leaves plenty of track for more thrills (of which there are plenty) later in the ride. There are some turns interspersed within the series of hills, so that the rider will suddenly (and perhaps unexpectedly) be thrown against the side of the train or the seat divider in the middle of enjoying the airtime. However, as a veteran rider of this coaster, I view this nuance as an integral part of the experience that you get while on this ride. At the same time, though, it can be slightly annoying, which prevents me from rating this as a 10. Nevertheless, the ride is excellent overall and is a must-ride if you are at The Great Escape.
