This review is submitted after riding SOB 4 times over two days. The first two times I rode SOB were simply incredible. The ride was certainly bumpy, but definitely not too rough nor too smooth. In fact, I dont even know how someone could claim this ride was too smoth. Perhaps they rode in the middle seat of the middle car? The first drop was the best on any wood I have ridden. I had great airtime. The speed was incredible, so instense at times through the helixes at the gs pulled my arms "down". That is, I didnt have enough strenth to hold them up. The second ride for the night was in the very front, and I was lucky to ride the final ride of the evening. This one ride was better than any ride of the Beat at night. It was one of those rare rides where everything went well. The speed? Ferocious. The track is so dark at times I couldnt see it. I will remember this ride for a long time. The second day I rode SOB twice. Both times were much bumpier than the first day. In fact, the second ride of this day I had a headache when I finished. If I hadnt experienced this inconsistency, I would definitely give this ride a ten. Much of the roughness, in my opinion, is due to the extreme size and speed of this coaster. Wood is not steel, and the faster and higher you go, the bumpier the ride will be. PKI is doing their best to smoothen the ride as much as possible. In fact, the ride was closed both days in the morning until about 1pm to work on the track. I think this is a good sign, and the ride will only get better.
