With the removal of Quantum Loop, Seabreeze currently only has one inverting ride. Fortunately though, Seabreeze has a great one in the Screamin’ Eagle. A Zamperla Hawk, the Screamin’ Eagle has a great setting, perched directly next to several trees and bushes. During the day, the Screamin’ Eagle looks very good due to its vibrant paint scheme, but at night the ride’s appearance is jaw-dropping. Sporting an incredible light package all along the ride’s colossal arm, the Screamin’ Eagle is truly a sight to behold at night.

In terms of wait times, the Screamin’ Eagle’s wait depends solely on one’s desire to wait for an end seat. Immediately when one enters the ride’s queue line, one has the option to pick either an end seat or any other seat. Since I honestly did not care where I sat, I decided to get on immediately. The end seats appeared to be a 4-5 cycle wait, while the interior seats were a walk on all-day. Unfortunately, this did not have the fastest loading. While the operators definitely were trying fairly hard, the entire loading process of having everyone sit down, collecting loose articles, and checking the restraints just seemed to take a tad too long in my opinion.

As for the ride itself, it was definitely the most thrilling attraction at Seabreeze. While the arm started off moving slow, the excitement definitely picked up once the first full inversion was completed. Compared to the Vekoma and Fabbri versions that I have been on, this one not only had more intense hang-time going over the top, but the positive Gs on the downswings were more intense as well. But what really won me over was that hang-time, as the arm slowed down just enough going over the top that I was completely off my seat, and yet the arm never fully stopped. Not only did the ride have incredible sensations from start to finish, but Seabreeze gave a very long cycle complete with plenty of inversions in both directions.

Overall, the Screamin’ Eagle is an incredible flat ride. Thanks to the abundant hang-time, positive Gs, and long cycles, the Screamin’ Eagle is the best version of this style of attraction that I have been on anywhere. Fans of these inverting flats should definitely give this a whirl in a visit to Seabreeze since the Eagle delivers a sensational and thrilling experience.
