Review of Big Bad Wolf @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg

With rumors going around that BBW might be running for only this season, I had to get at least one ride on it and share the glorious memories it had for 25 years. I've only been on one suspended coaster before and that was Iron Dragon at Cedar Point, the kiddy suspended coaster version, so I already knew it was gonna outdo that. The ride takes you up a lift hill, then sends you down a medium-sized drop that's followed by going through some tunnels at high speeds whipping you around each turns. Each and every turn causes the coaster cars to swing side to side making for a somewhat disorienting, yet fun experience. After going through some turns came the second lift hill that takes you up before turning left and plunging down that 100' drop down into the ravine which lies the notorious Rhine River. That drop was nice and afterward came some more turns before hitting the breaks. Big Bad Wolf was an interesting ride with high-speed turns and a surprisingly good finale drop. However, the coaster's kinda rough and that sometimes isn't a good thing. Still, I would get at least one ride on this daunting classic.
