Florida really is the capital of these Dumbo-type attractions. Really that is almost exclusively due to Disney’s weird obsession with these simplistic, kid-friendly attractions, but Islands of Adventure is also home to one of these attractions, and in fact it’s easily one of the best examples of the genre anywhere.

Located in Seuss Landing, this colorful attraction is definitely a hit among kids. Thankfully though, it was only a one cycle wait during my visit since I would unfortunately have missed this ingenious little attraction had there been a lengthy wait, which definitely is a real possibility on busy days due to the attraction’s low capacity and slow loading. Past that, the ride quite frankly just really looks great and definitely fits in flawlessly with the entire area with its vibrant, stylistic appearance.

Once seated in one of the various cartoonish fish, the delightful attraction begins. Well like all other attractions of this genre, riders can control the height of the vehicle at will, but this pedestrian feature is even more significant than usual thanks to this attraction’s special feature, the water sprayers. During the ride, a catchy song is blasted for all to hear, revealing instructions on how to fly in order to avoid being doused by a gentle jet of H2O. Instead of mindlessly shifting up and down like on most versions of this attraction, this one actually has a purpose- to evade the jets of water. The cycle seemed a tad on the short side, but I understand since it compensates for the attractions slow loading times.

One Fish Two Fish is definitely one of the best rides of its kind. Just the uniqueness of it make the experience memorable, something very few attractions like this are capable of providing. Of the many examples of this type of attraction featured in Orlando, this one is just slightly behind Astro Orbiter for my favorite. Nonetheless, this attraction is a fresh change of pace from others like it. This definitely is a can’t miss attraction for younger guests, but older guests should also consider giving this a whirl since it really is a cute, little attraction.
