 Review of Revenge of the Mummy @ Universal Studios Florida

Rvenge of the mummy is the worlds fastest enclosed lim coaster. This ride is supposed to be a movie but, then turns real. The great themeing and exucution of this ride is top nocth. This ride taking place in the same building as king kong ride, even though universal had a king kong remake coming out later in the year this ride opended. This ride start&#39.s out like a dark ride.
This ride starts out with a slow curve into a tomb where there is a mummy with a baseball cap on saying. &quot.Are you guys insane? Get out of here the curse it&#39.s real&quot. He gets cut off by imohtep who says. &quot.With your souls I shall rule for all etrnity&quot. Then there is another slow curve. Then you go in to a room with a screen on which imohtep appears saying. &quot.Join me and protect the riches beyond measure. And refuse and die!&quot. you then accelarte with a door closing down on you. Then you stop at a wall with a bunch of rocks in it. The rocks then break and wound up being scrab beetles that cover the entire wall and some rocks poor out also. There is a small back- words drop. Then you see imhotep saying &quot.Not even the medji can save you now. There is no escape.&quot. You turn around while he says that and start to go up. You see him at the top of the hill saying &quot.The souls are mine&quot. You then have an Lim acceleration from 2-40 Mph in to coaster part. You then stop at a fake unload station with a ride atteandt shilloute saying &quot.We hope you enjoyed your ride on...&quot. when imohtep takes her soul and says &quot.death is only the beginning!&quot. You then enter a shorter coaster part where there is mist and imotep says NOOOOO!!!! and the coaster part ends. You then slowly go streight slowly where you see Brenden Fraser saying &quot.Hope you enjoyed your ride. I would&#39.ve enjoyed this interveiw alot more if I HAD GOTTEN MY CUP OF COFFE!&quot. A shadow comes by with his coffe and he say&#39.s annoyingly &quot.Thanks&quot. he then looks up and its imohtep the screen then goes black and he screams &quot.AAAAAHHHHHH&quot..

An excellent ride best in the park currently. Worth a good 25-35 minute wait defintly worth a vist if in the park.

Not to go all coaster dork on you, but both of the Flight of Fear rides are faster. Though I think ROTM gets the nod for superior ride.

Yeah I was going to point that out when I first read the review earlier, but I definitely agree with you that it'.s the park'.s best attraction and a great ride.

An 8 is a fair score for this ride. I personally am not a big fan of themed rides, as I want a more visceral experience, something only wood can provide. But this is a well themed ride, one of only a few I think that successfully blends style with substance. The brain fire is an absolutely stunning effect.
