Magnum XL 200 is a coaster often over looked at Cedar Point with new bigger faster better rides being put in every year or two. But it certainly should NOT be overlooked for it is once crazy ride. ALthough there are claims of Magnum being rough I found no such roughness what so ever. The coaster begins it 200+ foot ascent slowly with a traditional click clack chain that gives you alot of time to take in the view you get from the coaster. But don'.t look for too long because after that you plummet 200 feet down to the ground and back up into a massive hill which treated us with some great floater air. The hill turns slightly to the left and back down again into a tunnel and upinto another airtime hill which provided some more great floater air. We then continued on into the very forceful yet shaky pretzel turn. After the turn came the most intense set of airtime hills one could experience, some immersed in darkness and some flying high into the sky. It seems as if with every passing hill magnum increases its speed adding to the insane upward thrust the ejects you from your seat, although insanely fun the airtime can hurt a bit with those restraints. Magnum never lets up in this array of turn plummeting extreme airtime hills. Overall Magnum is a classic coaster that has and will thrill riders with intensity and airtime for years to come.
