Its rare for me to really dislike a Coney Island ride, but this is just one of them. I absolutely applaud the park for trying to cram a custom flume in such a small space, but honestly the portable models are on par with this. First and foremost, this ride just feels empty without trees and scenery. I envision the ideal log flume running along trees in a tranquil setting, not in the middle of Coney Island. But what really disappoints me about this ride are the drops. They are puny and many flumes have a larger first drop than the "big" drop on this one. Also I always have come off absolutely dry, which is really disappointing on stifling New York summer days. Its also way too quickly. As Ive said, I applaud the park for trying an original design, but its just not exciting enough and sadly not that fun.
