Sucker for swing rides that I am, I still think Dorneys Wave Swinger is good, although it doesnt rate as high for me as other models have at other parks. The prime reason for that is because it sits right smack in the middle of the concrete-infested midway. I understand that the park may have wanted it in that nice central location, but would it kill them to have some trees around the ride? I think that adds so much to the experience on these things. Anyway, as a swing ride it is your typical swinging goodness, with a nice pace and breezy ride. The movement is good, but the cycle is rather average. It is still a ton of fun for me though, and that makes it a good flat in my eyes.
