I would like to be giving Americana an 8-9 rating, because it was a great ferris wheel with nice views of the parks skyline and the lake. However, it loses 2 points for the terrible way it was run by the park, not to mention its awful ride crew. Look, this is a ferris wheel, and there was a reason that it had 24 cars....so you can FILL them!! With a line spilling down the midway on a busy day, Geauga loaded exactly 3 cars. Simply pathetic. The crew that loaded those also looked about as disinterested as humanly possible, taking their time to let people out/on. On the positive side, the setting was great right near the lake, and the views were very good as well. Its too bad that this really good ferris wheel was marred by such a horrible crew and equally perplexing loading policy.
