Excellent flat ride! This one gives the best cycle of any of the screamin swings I have been on. Plus, since it was a larger model, you really get to go up pretty high. I love the sensations and the way they can vary from negative to positive so quickly without making me sick. Probably my favorite ride in the park behind Phantom, and it wasnt even a 10 minute wait, awesome!

This one is a lot better than Skyhawk. I have no idea what CP was thinking when they set up a cycle where you barely get ONE full swing. As if adding another 40 seconds to the cycle is going to kill their capacity. Its the loading/unloading that slows these rides down.

Along with Kangaroo, SwingShot is my favorite flat ride at Kennywood. The cycle is awesome and the wait is surprisingly short, thanks to the wonderful crew that loads and unloads this puppy at a very brisk pace, certainly tons faster than the crew at CP does with Skyhawk. And I too am puzzled by the lame ride cycle given on Skyhawk, especially when compared to SwingShots. Overall, its really no contest between the two, as I think SwingShot destroys Skyhawk on all levels and leaves it in the dust!
