I actually found this ride to be very disappointing. They hyped it up quite a lot about being a wild ride that takes you to some special place. They must have given 5 warnings about motion sickness and being afraid of the dark giving people a chance to back out each time. In reality the ride was quite mild. The lights dim and the whole room starts to spin. Being seated down the middle it gives the illusion that you are spinning, or hanging up side down. I was actually quite impressed that my 4 year old figured it out. Once we left that room I thought we were heading into another room where the story would continue (the destination), but alas that was all there was to it. The story was ok, although entirely fictional (from what I could tell). I sometimes don’t like when a story is told about a real person in history that is entirely made up. This feeds misinformation to my kids, which only causes confusion. Ranking of 5 is all I can give and I think I am being generous.

I dont quite get the end of your review. The story is fictional as is Merlin and the family that adopted them the only real thing they talk about is there are things called Gravity points.

I hate to split hairs over the details of the story, I only brought it up because it is one of my gripes and it really struck a cord with me at the time. Merlins origins and liege are very murky and historians estimate that most of what has been written about him was embellished and fabricated over the years. So, I guess making up additional stories about him for the benefit of enhancing the ride is not so bad (call it artistic license). In any case, my bigger "complaint" is that I left the room thinking there was going to be something more. We were taking a journey after all. To what I dont know, but when I was sent back outside it was kind of a let down.

Understandable. I having been on many rides before first riding this new there woudl be nothing after that segment. This was back when it was new. i personally enjoy this better then the even more Hyped up version at SFNE. another thing is you mentioned the warnings being said over and over again. they tend to repeat it every time some one new comes to the porch. but I saw a girl freak out after the doors closed back when it was first added. by the way this attraction was built in house at the park. its not purchased through a ride company.
