One of the more polarizing Disneyland experiences, I find Its a Small World to be at true classic. This ride stands so prominently at the back of Fantasyland, its giant clock structure ticking away and perfectly manicured topiary figures sprinkled around the base. The inside dolls and scenery are pretty low tech, and the song does repeat endlessly, but this is vintage Disney, and it merits some respect regardless of how you feel about the actual ride itself. Try it during the holiday period if youre tired of the normal ride. The world brotherhood theme is all the more appropriate then, the Christmas lights that deck the entire building are truly spectacular, and Jingle Bells gets mixed in with Its a Small World, so the song wont get so old so fast.
